HOBOKEN, NJ - Crews battled a two-alarm fire in Hoboken on Thursday. Just before 5:00 p.m., Hoboken Fire Department units responded to an active fire at 529 Washington Street, right in the heart of the city's main thoroughfare. HFD have indicated that the fire is now under control, and no victims have been reported. According to the City of Hoboken, Washington Street is closed to traffic in both directions at 5th Street due to the fire. Buses are currently diverted to Bloomfield Street and Hudson Street.
