She is survived by her three siblings, Aoife, Nuala and Jim, and her daughter Christine. Cara's family first noticed her budding talent when she was 12. She went on to attend Cork School of Music and perform all over the world including at the Paris Opera, Sydney Opera House and London’s Royal Albert Hall.
