>> reporter: well that body was found about 15 feet offshore by some kayakers this morning. police now believe that it had been in this lake for some time as they would have some clues as to who it might possibly be. the small lake is a popular area for walking and biking for the local residents, although the body was discovered today that the woman may have been in the lake for some time and that they are looking at the missing persons report to confirm who the woman was. >> nothing like this ever happened here. >> i know, the most action that you would usually see here are a couple of geese fighting. >> the lake is shallow though they are prone to flooding last night. >> there was a huge flood last night just as they came through, so we saw a lot in the water. >> reporter: they have not yet clarified this as to whether or not it was an accident or something criminal in nature. to give you an idea on how this investigation is going that it has been in that lake warm enough that they could not tell at first. that they have determined that it was a woman as they have divers in the lake looking for clues, that right now it will be no i.d. >> hank, thanks for that as they have been closed earlier in the day, but both reopened to the public. the stabbing outside fredericksburg leaves two men dead and one injured as stephanie ramirez reports that the killers are still out there. >> reporter: police say that both businesses in the restaurant here just let out after 2:00 this morning when that fight broke out for what is described to be a packed parking lot here. two men, they did not survive. the third person was stabbed, expected to be okay after the stabbing where everyone would flood it as they believe it would not end in two fatalities. to contact the police department immediately as they will be hearing from the folks earlier tonight at 11:00. and police, they are asking anyone who may have cell phone video of the fight to give them a call. the district heights marylandman is shot to death. as they tell us that they don't believe his death was a random act as the victim is the 22- year-old who was found suffering from the gunshot wound in the 7200 block. and just after 9:00 last night as they were pronounced dead at the scene as they are offering a $25,000 reward for any information leading to his killer. we have a name for the ice cream truck driver who was shot to death yesterday. from the big daddy ice cream truck last night. police arrested lisles of walkersville, maryland, charged of first-degree murder, giving them no motive for the attack as children, children were near the truck at the time of the shooting, waiting to buy ice cream. we are learning about the search for those on the run now. as they escaped from the clinton correctionals facility and upstate new york nine days ago with more than 900 state and law enforcement officials are working 12-hour shifts. they are searching by helicopter and drone and also by boat on the ground. in the meantime the nearby residents are showing their support for the efforts. >> the authorities say that the prison employee helped those two men escape and they planned to drive some seven hours with the pair after they cut their way out of prison using the hacksaws and other tools. they pleaded not guilty to promoting the prison contraband during the arraignment hearing on friday. well, the flooding wasn't bad enough. now, the zoo animals were on the loose as we will tell you where it is all happening coming up. and before those storms would hit tonight, cyclists pedaled their way around town for a good cause as we'll well, sir. after some serious consideration i'd like to put in my 15-year notice. you're quitting!? towards huntington. this will rain itself out in the next half hour. look at this guy about to cross the bridge there just south of us. some heavy downpours producing a little lightning headed towards the mountain at 6:40 right now basically. la platta at 7:03 and rogers mill at 7:15. heavy showers tracking with nothing terrible here. and this will be tracking towards culpeper as it looks like the southwestern areas of the county over the next 30 to 45 minutes with a lot on radar. right now temps have cooled up from 73 to 79. light rain at the top of the hour, but it has exited reagan national as they have been all over the place with the outflows from the storms where it has not stormed, it is quite hot. fredericksburg 91 in the upper 70s and the lower 80s with a lot of things going on in the country with a lot of deep moisture, showing you the heavy downpours, which the moisture has been flowing north and now on top of that, they will try to develop that for you as it looks like it will be towards texas and that general flow is bad news with a lot of flooding in may if you can remember that and houston potentially on monday and tuesday and 10 inches of rain the next couple of
