C. Police recovered ten illegal guns overnight and now at least five people are in jail. Police tweeted out some pictures last night that they say that these pictures here the ten guns included three handguns with high capacity magazines. And two rifles. Fire department that has promised change but here we are yet again unfortunately reporting that a young child has died. This time, that child died after a fire truck from this northeast fire house responded to the emergency call instead of an ambulance. Lets take a look at video of the scene. The 911 call came in around 3 00 yesterday afternoon from the 4600 block of hillside road in southeast. A boy no older than 2 years old were told was unconscious and not breathing. The nearest available d. C. Ambulance was seven miles away. D. C. Fire called prince georges county, they did not have an ambulance available. So paramedic crews on fire engine 30 were told arrived in four minutes and performed advanced life support the then eventually and then eventually met up with another ambulance about 15 minutes later as they were heading to the hospital. Unfortunately that young boy was sent to the hospital in critical condition. And then later died. There are two investigations underway. One from d. C. Fire and the other d. C. Police. And you may know this is not the controversial death or controversial Emergency Response linked to the fire department. Well have much more on those other cases coming up at 6 30. Teacher will be sentenced for sexually abusing a student in a classroom at his school. Giovanni pena taught at the Oyster Adams Bilingual School in northwest. He pleaded guilty to charges of sexually abusing a fourth grader during the 2013 and 2014 school year prosecutors say pena also sent nude pictures to the student. A woman accused of trying to kidnap a toddler on a metro train is also due in court today. Her name monique mcknight. If judge ordered her removed if the courtroom at her arraignment after she kept speaking out. Witnesses say mcknight tried to pull a 2yearold girl out of the stroller wednesday and some passengers grabbed her and held her down until Metro Transit Police arrived.
