standstill tonight. hulmeville is shut down near park avenue. police say a car hit a pole and some wires got knocked down. the driver was taken to the hospital. we don't yet know what caused the was bitterly this morning. temperatures right now are in the upper 20s. it's going to be another cold night, but a midweek warm up is in the offing. between degrees right now but you factor in that wind, not as blustery as it was yesterday. it feels like 20 degrees current until physical. we have 28 in millville. 24 in allentown. 18 right now in the pocono mountains. but once again factor in that wind not as brutal as it was this morning. 22 is what it feels like in wilmington. 21 what it feels like in atlantic city. so if you're stepping outdoors temperatures will hold pretty steady in the mid to upper 20s. clouds will increase during the overnight and there could be a few flurries north and west. we're tracking a fast might have moving system. winter wither advisories and winter storm warnings posted for sections of the midwest. that system will eventually head in our direction but right now you can see it is well aways away from us. another cold night once again warmup for tomorrow. temperatures will be in the 40s. that is going to feel balmy but yes, more snow is expected from that system we were talking about off to the west. as early as thursday morning. when i come indoors i'll have the specific timing of that as well as the potential snowfall amounts and even more snow is expected in that seven day forecast after thursday morning's system. iain, back to you. >> all right scott. thank you. we're following breaking news in the middle east tonight. video released online appears to show isis militants burning a jordanian pilot to death. isis captured 26-year-old first lieutenant had his jet crashed in syria back in december. he became the first pilot from the us led coalition to be captured. his death comes after a week long drama over a possible prisoner exchange that many hoped could have saved the pilot's life. the victim's father was attending a tribal meeting in jordan when the news of the video released surfaced and emotions ran high during the meeting after family members got word of the killing. jordan' government was willing to trade an al-qaida prisoner from the pilot but wanted proof of life first. us official are working to confirm the authenticity of the video president barack obama says today this is more proof of how desperate and barbaric isis really is. >> i think we'll redouble the vigilance and determination on the part of a tonight at the white house. developing to night what started a as laundromat fight ends with at last one woman arrested and charged. it all happened last night in the tioga nicetown section of philadelphia. 33-year-old lashonda anderson has been charged with attempted murder. other related offenses for the incident yesterday. two women told police they were confronted by a group of four women talon degree mat near fox and roberts avenue. the confrontation later moved to a second location on roberts avenue where the women tried to confront the group and gunfire erupted anderson now accused of shooting one of the women in the legs. both are reported in stable condition tonight. in southwest philadelphia, police say a man drove himself to a police station after being shot in the chest. shooting happened near 66th street around 1:30 this morning. the man listed in critical condition after surgery. police are looking for a dark colored dodge charger in connection to that shooting. happening now an ex philadelphia employee under arrest for theft. he was supposed to keep records of impounded vehicles. she broke the rules and stole them for herself. bruce gordon joins us live with those details tonight. bruce. >> reporter: iain vehicles sent to the city's police auto pound unit are supposed to wiped up on the auction block or perhaps sent to salvage. they're not supposed to wind up in the possession of the employee of the lot but authorities allege that's exactly the scam perpetrated by one sharon hammond. >> authorities say sharon ham met was a long time police department clerk based at the department's auto pound lot be 19 the platt bridge. her job was to keep records on impounded vehicles and whether they'd be sent to auction or cut up for salvage. an internal affairs probe concluded that twice ham met falsified documents to make it look like an all terrain vehicle had been properly doctors posed of. in fact, both atv's wept to ham met and her hub john a third was actually purchased by the ham met's back in 2003. it later disappeared and was confiscated by the police department in 2005. authorities say sharon hammet took possession of that third atv without the required court order releasing it from police custody. sharon and? ham debt met stand charged tonight with multiple counts of theft forgery tampering with records. she resigned outbreak has also become a political talking point in washington. it's not normally an issue that politicians tackle but the now beginning to bleed over into that 2016 race for the white house. joyce evans joins us now with a look at a topic that's dominating the political landscape. joyce? >> it really is, iain. right now, there are more than 100 reported cases of measles in the country, and the head of the cdc is warning that the us could see a very large outbreak. this comes as lawmakers from both parties weigh in on parents and vaccinations. today house speaker john boehner said he does not think we need another law but he believes that all children ought to be vaccinate the. new jersey governor christie said yesterday that the decision to vaccinate should be left up to parents. but he later clarified saying that children should be vaccinated for measles. senator rand paul expected to run for president says that vaccines should be voluntary and just this past weekend president obama said he supports the measles vaccine. but the issue at happened is whether the government should force parents to vaccinate their children and that's left a lot of doctors at odds on that point. >> this vaccine is 99% effective and measles is incredibly contagious to most contagious virus known to man. it can cause side effects. so what do we have to do? we have to vaccinate. should it be mandatory? no. >> well this current outbreak is being linked to california's disneyland parks. federal health officials are blaming the spread on small communities of unvaccinated people. between the year 2000 and 2010, we saw 16 outbreaks of measles. that had more than 10 cases each. now last year alone an outbreak in an amish community in ohio reduced close to 400 cases of measles. iain. joyce, thank you. turning back to your fox 29 winter weather authority. here's live look at philadelphia international airport tonight. while it's been pretty out there we have not gotten any kind of winter weather that's going to affect the flights in or out of phl. we are watching a chance though for more snow by the end of the week across the country airports are trig to get their flight schedules back on track after another winter disruption this week. there were thousands of frustrated and angry travelers at detroit's metropolitan airport after that huge snowstorm hit that city. the airport measuring 17-inches of snow leading to major makes headaches for lot of travelers. >> wake up all day today shoveling snow and come here to catch my flight and it's delayed three times and then i was canceled and then switched to another flight and then one is cancel. all right. a lot of flights were canceled, delayed and across the country winter weather was to blame for some 5400 flight disruptions. of course, nothing locate that here. we kind of dodged it again but i know we've got a chance of snow coming up in the forecast you're about to give. >> we have some snow iain, thursday morning and it look like it's going to be moving in during that thursday morning commute. we'll have the timing of that but not whole lot of snow. >> all right. >> then another system for a part of the upcoming weekend. so crazy weather continues with that seven day. we'll look at the coming up but right now it's still cold. 29 degrees is the current air temperature. you factor in that wind, it feels like 20 but it's not as brutal as it was early this morning. we had wind chills in the single digits across much of the area. just making it feel down right uncomfortable. so as we take look at the temperatures right now for the high today 30 degrees. the low it was cold. 20. definitely not where we shall be for this time of year which is in the low 40s for high temperatures and look at the temperatures right now. 18 in the pocono mountains. we have upper 20s in atlantic city. as well as wildwood. 29 right now in wilmington. 27 in lancaster as well as reading. so bundle up. if you're stepping outdoors it is going to be cold. but look at the current sustained wind speeds anywhere from about 10 miles per hour out of the north and west in philadelphia we have 10 miles out of the south and west as we move toward dover. so the winds are diminishing but once again it is itly is feeling pretty cold. right now the wind chill in the pocono mountains 4 degrees much it feels like 17 in trenton. it feels like 21 degrees in atlantic city. as well as dover and 19 what it feels like in reading. so temperatures as we take look at the clock, you can see holding pretty steady not dropping as drastically as they did last night. those clouds are going to increase but we're going to stay dry. now there could be a little bit of flurries north and west early tomorrow morning. we'll play that out coming up with fox future cast, but it is going to be cold to a brief warmup tomorrow. but don't get used to it. and, yes light snow is expected by thursday with an arctic front that will arrive bringing more bitterly cold air just in time for thursday night and into friday. so off to our west buck see numerous winter weather advisories in purple few warnings in the white across the midwest. so they're dealing with that system that will eventually bring snow our way. so as we look at ultimate doppler we're dry in the philadelphia area as well as points west but take a look. you can see minneapolis milwaukee, chicago looking at some snow as this system eventually heads in our direction. so as we watch the clock tonight, most of the that energy will move to the north. so by tomorrow morning there could be some flurries in the poconos. or sections of the lee his valley but otherwise it's going to be a cold start and we'll wait for the second half of that system to arrive overnight wednesday especially thursday morning. you can see that snow and that boundary off to the west. still as we look at the clock by 7am, it looks like it will just be entering sections of the poconos the lehigh valley and then continue to move toward the i-95 corridor by nine, 10:00 o'clock when you're watching good day. maybe a coating to an inch out of that system and then sunday into monday, we'll watch another system move across sections of the upper ohio river valley and right toward our area and once again, the location is going to be key. but it looks like with second system the least snow the farther south and east you head the most snow the farther north and west you head. we have some time to really fine tune that forecast. but the seven day shows look at wednesday. temperatures in the mid 40s. it's going to feel pretty balmy. thursday morning's early snow. temperatures in the 30s back into the freezer. townships for highs on friday. and then sunday into monday watching for that second system that could bring a little more snow than what is expected thursday morning. so a lot to talk about. >> exactly. cold and snow. all right. scott, thanks a dozens of nude people on blacks beach in san diego. the hike which included a parents group ended up having to walk through the entire beach one couple couldn't believe that the pack master knowingly walked the kids through the area so he filed a complaint against the boy scouts. >> i said, what, what are you doing? we're in the middle of a nude different beach. he's like, you know, this is a believed he was an only child. >> i just met her yesterday and she's wonderful. she really is. >> reporter: over the weekend he was reuniteed with an older sister he never knew he had. after his mother's death in 2003 his uncle told him he had an older brother. in 2005, he made a post on the internet trying to find hmm but never got any answers. 10 years later now 68-year-old nova found his post and after seeing they had the same birth mother she called him and first talk to his wife. >> he told me he said at first i thought it was hoax. and then he called and we had app uncle jimmy or mother' brother. we called him. said no, she's telling you the truth. she is who she says she is. it gives me chills right now. >> reporter: even that are uncle didn't tell anyone their mother had three children, two were given up for adoption. >> so he would have been about nine or 10 years old when this child was born. so he didn't know a whole lot about him. but he remembered the girl real well. he laughed and told me he said your mother had to go somewhere and he says, i had a paper route. and says it cost $4 week where she stayed until she had the baby. i paid the $4 a week out of my paper route money. >> reporter: at eight months old monroe was adopted by this family and lived in lawrence berg. on their second time meeting the two feel an instant bond. >> it's really funny to their older brother. >> his first name is howard. his last name when he was born would have been hook. it could be anything now. he was born around 1941. i do know that his father's name was edward
