fox 29's meteorologist caitlin roth. caitlin w? >> joyce, good evening to you. and you too dawn. the key word in that is parts. parts of our area meaning northwest of us they'll see accumulating snow if you're here in philadelphia, you probably not going to see any flakes unless you're up late tomorrow night. outside right now it couldn't be quieter. high pressure was in control all day. we saw a lot of beautiful sunshine but we felt really cold temperatures. that will change starting tomorrow and in advance of that we have a winter storm watch out for northern tear of immediate suburbs that would be northern chester, northern montgomery, upper bucks county, and into central jersey if you live in any of those spots you'll be upgradeed to winter storm warning or it will become a winter weather advisory. that advisory out for lancaster county and winter storm warning the area we expect several inches of accumulateing snow and/or ice fur nest north and west. berks county lehigh valley up through the poconos. poconos get decent fresh powder on those slopes after tomorrow night and monday morning. temperatures have been the story all day. so out there. we did not climb out of the 20s. right now we're at 23 in philadelphia. 20 in pottstown. 15 in allentown. it's 12 up at mount pocono right now. only good thing the fares have gone calm for the most part. we were very gusty earlier we started think morning with wind chills in the minus 10 to minus below 20 up in the mountains right now it's not so bad. so at least a little better. wind chills are in the teens but we're all above zero. clouds are on the increase tonight. 20 in the city. 12 in the suburbs. still a cold night. not as frigid tomorrow. we'll rise above freezing. 37 the high temperature. mostly cloudy torque night. two people have been found dead. police spent a large part of the day in mt. holly. fox 29's brad sattin is live near the scene tonight with the very latest. brad, what do we know yet. >> reporter: well, joyce it has been a long day for investigators they got this call around 9:00 o'clock this morning. we're looking at 13 hours and as you see behind me, they are still on the scene. a couple investigators just walking into this house. the crime tape is still up. i did speak to the burlington county prosecutor's office a short time ago. they're saying little tonight other than they're investigate a double homicide. >> mount holly is pretty quiet much there's not lot that happens here. >> reporter: not normally but on this day homicide investigators arriving this morning worked into the night trying to figure out who killed two people inside this duplex at 204 washington street and why. a man an woman their bodies discovered this morning by another person living here who had just returned home. >> cops and detectives everywhere and it was just -- it was a whole bunch of chaos. >> surprising. very much so. very disturbing too. >> reporter: clarence williams lives in the adjoining duplex. he says the couple lived next to him for about year but he did not know them well. >> kind of upset me, you know, that close to him. especial val i have my grandchildren and my children here. my wife is out of town, luckily she's out of town. >> reporter: his daughter rushed over upon hearing the news schenn was told what happened. >> she said they took young lady out that had, you know, short hair in the patrol car and they brought the young man out um, he had on boxer shorts and he was full of blood and that was it. they put him in the ambulance with handcuffs. >> reporter: she says the four all lived there. though their relationship is unclear. investigators will only say no one has been arrested yet but there's no threat to the community. still neighbors are on edge this woman knows the couple. >> nice people out here to be honest. they always say hi to you. if you're a bad mood they'll stop and say hi. investigators combing through evidence in and out of the home throughout the day working in cold blustery conditions. the bodies weren't removed until late this afternoon. >> when you hear it's a double homicide crazy stuff going on. >> reporter: we'll have to wait until tomorrow to get new information. again, the prosecutor's office telling us they will be releasing more information tomorrow. final note here as we mentioned there have been no arrests at this point but again important to note that the community we're told is not in any danger. joyce? >> all right, thank you, brad. well breaking news in delaware could night southbound lanes of i-95 are shut down near delaware avenue in wilmington. state police are investigating a deadly pedestrian accident. we're told a person was hit by a car just after 9:00 o'clock tonight. drivers are being told to avoid that area. well torque night bensalem police are mourning the loss of one of their own. detectives kevin cornish died this morning while running a marathon in northeast philadelphia. he was running with fellow officers when he collapsed. the 42-year-old leaves behind a wife and a daughter. still no word yet on an official cause of death. and to developing story now. whitney houston's daughter is in an at land to hospital tonight. the 21-year-old was found this morning face down in a bathtub. police say bobby christina brown is still alive. tmz is reporting she's in a medically induced coma. fox's claire settlements has more from brown's home in the suburbs north of atlanta. >> reporter: we arrived on the scene and found bobby christina brown was unresponsive. police say one of brown's friends called 911 at 10:23 saturday morning and reported brown was lying face down in a bathtub at her townhome. >> we don't know if this was a medical condition where she had a problem in the tub or if it was any type of self initiated or overdose type of situation. >> reporter: investigators remain on the scene as they work to find any clues about what led to the incident and to interview those who were inside the home at the time. according to police, brown her husband and three others were at the townhouse this morning. so far police have not reported finding any drugs or prescription medications. >> first of all my heart goes out to her many i think she's sort of been on her own for a long time. pretty devastating you know, as a mother. >> reporter: neighbors say brown has lived in the subdivision for several years. they say brown moved here with her mother whitney houston few years before houston tragically passed away. police say the similarityies in this case are not lost on investigators. houston died in her bathtub in 2012. >> it is very bizarre that the same situation happens. i feel very badly more the friends and family and elijah foreman foreman, sr. and injury face a long list of charges to night. including injuries and weapons violations. all started with a home burglary investigation in the ocean view area this past week. police say they found clues connecting a handgun stolen from that house to foreman jr. later officers spotted foreman driving and they pulled him over. police say that they found the stolen gun cash and drug. then officers went to foreman's house in frankford delaware wreck they say they found more drugs and cash. that's also where they arrested his father foreman sr. a federal judge puts the sale of atlantic city's former revel casino on hold while an appeal is heard brought by the company that ran its nightclub and bars. revel now has until tuesday to respond to a bid to delay the more than 95 million-dollar sale to developer glenn straub. the company filing the appeal idea boardwalk has invested millions of dollars into the property and it wants to keep its rights to the property. straub wants to buy it without any obligation to any companies that had leases with revel. straub's polo north country club was the first to bid on revel which costs $2.4 billion to build. it closed last september after little more than two years and after never turning a profit. happening now disturbing news out of the middle east. terror group isis claims to be headed another japanese the he 42 holder board awarding the camden county military service medal to marine staff sergeant daniel wagner. sergeant wagner served in the military for 13 years including two tours of duty in iraq and one in afghanistan. rebuilding the village. philadelphia mayor michael nutter says he wants to start a series of conversations aimed at helping a group of citizens who face a unique set of challenges. the dialogue started today. fox 29's sabina kuriakose has details. >> the ability for them to be able to stay on track and to try to not fall under peer pressure, and just to be able to keep his mine right and stay focused. >> dana what's all the best things for eight-year-old son justin. the two worry about the world that he's growing up in. she brought him here to the launch of mayor nutter's commission on african-american males rebuilding the village program. >> young black males are responsible, that they're not all engaged in violence or crime crime. that they're paying attention to what's going on in their community. >> reporter: mayor nutter says this is just the first in a series of conversations he hopes to have around the city and he says they're not just going to be talking about healing and wellness but frank discussions about current events that are on the minds of young people. >> you have to look at issues like tragedies in ferguson or staten island are even something that may have happened here in philadelphia and so how do you heal community and police relations? how do you deal with young people who may have seen someone literal literally laying dead in the street or know a friend who was shot and the trauma that goes with that? and so significant amount of healing that needs to take place. that will only happen with conversation. >> we need to bring more black men into the economy and more black men into the community and talk about what they're doing from a positive standpoint as opposed to always highlighting and profiling typical story of, um, you know, black men and violence and in crisis. >> reporter: to do that commissioner co hair steve vasser says organizers want to create a way for community leaders to talk openly and honestly with young men instead of typically charge police and the emergency interaction. rebuilding the village will host monthly conversations in strawberry mansion kingsessing and mantua sections of the city for the neck year and a half. sabina kuriakose fox 29 news. a bizarre really terrifying moment for a bank employee after she's bitten by a monkey. >> it happened in texas and after the attack, police say the monkey's owner just took off. it didn't take long, though, for officers to catch up with both of them. tonight, the monkey is in quarantine. investigators say the owner of the animal brought the monkey inside a bank last thursday claiming it was a service animal animal. soon after, that monkey bit an employee and while it was scary officials say it could have been much worse. >> it was not a severe injury fortunately he did bite in location where she had several layers of clothing, so, um, she was certainly prevented from having a much more serious injury. >> well, that employee is okay, but the monkey's owner is in trouble. police cited him for keeping a prohibited animal inside the city limits. well there's new cell phone video out tonight after delta pilot gets locked out of the cockpit mid flight. >> can you imagine the co-pilot landed the plane. he did it just fine. but it was definitely an unusual situation for everybody on board. fox's lea beno has the story. >> this is never happened to me ever and i fly probably five or six times a month. >> reporter: surprise enough to pull out his cell phone camera jonathan captured the delta pilot aboard flight 1651 going row by row reassuring passengers. >> we were about an hour out before we were getting ready to land in vegas and it was kind of crazy. the captain gets on the pa system and says, unfortunately i've got some bad news. i had to go to the bathroom and when returning from the lavatory i got locked out of the cockpit. >> really honestly my heart went up in my throat for a split second. >> reporter: that pilot described his co-pilot as a veteran with 22 years in the air force and 15 years flying for delta. >> we're definitely in good hands. he knows how to take control of this type of airport. >> reporter: in statement delta confirms the door jammed. the co-pilot locked inside the cockpit lapped the plane safely with 160 people on board. learning of this numerous other commercial pilots with spoke with while this is odd things like this can happen, adding this is scan pep while there's two pilots in the first place. delta won't comment on protocol for security reasons but we're told this is why pilots are mural of usually prevented from leaving the cockpit during take off and landings. according to jonathan, this happened near the middle of the flight. >> still why the door jammed is what many are looking forward to learning from so this can be avoided in the future. >> if he just would have stood up there and continueed to try to mess with the door to try to get the door unjammed, i think that would have had people a little bit more nervous than what it was. but he did a very -- really really good job. >> it's definitely a crazy bucket list item everybody. los angeles firefighters go to great lengths to rescue dog from a river. take a look the at this. one of the firefighters lowered into the water by a helicopter. once he gets in there he wearing a collar with a leash. >> must have gotten away. a man is arrested in connection with a gruesome murder in san francisco. a suitcase stuffed with dismembered human remains is found on a downtown street wednesday afternoon. yesterday police releasing surveillance video of a suspect and then just hours later a tip call leads them to 59-year-old mark andres. he has now been booked on suspicion of murder. the victim has not yet been identified. investigators say this killing may be connected to organized crime or a gang. well greeting people may be part of his job description but for one georgia man the amount of attention that he's receiving after getting reprimand getting reprimanded at work is really overwhelming. >> it really is. this is james phillips. as part of his have been exposed to a measles patient at a phoenix urgent care a week and a half ago. local health officials say they're taking it very seriously but at the same time they're downplaying the chances of a massive outbreak with so many people in town for the super bowl. >> i wouldn't be worried about measles because there is way way way way more flu and other respiratory viruses it there than there is likely to be even a case of measles in that crowd. >> reporter: measles outbreak started back in december at doctors knee land in california. it has since spread to 14 states. in order to protect yourself and your family, you should get a measles vaccination. at the same time security is a top concern. there will be thousands of police officers on foot both today and tomorrow. they're bringing in black hawk helicopters and massive x-ray machines from the border federal authorities say they are concerned about a lone wolf scenario the department of homeland security has conducted active shooter workshops. they say there have been no direct threats made but they want to mack sure that far one is safe and secure. looking to the gape there's a chance richard sherman's girlfriend could starring in building at elm and morris streets about 11:00 o'clock last night. the flames quickly spreading to other buildings and the wind and the freezing temperatures makeing it particularly difficult for firefighters. the good news is no one was hurt hurt. about 25 people, though, were forced from their homes. the red cross is helping them out. still no word yet on exactly what sparked let's get to the headlines with this one. we're saying winter storm that doesn't mean of one in our area will see snow. in fact good chunk over half of us will not delaware, jersey even philadelphia. probably not seeing much if anything. here's what to expect as we head through the next couple of days. it's still very cold tonight. less harsh on sunday which looks dry most of the day. snow does not arrive until late sunday evening. and then overnight it blankets the area with a mix of snow and rain and some ice. we do have some concern for ice early monday the doesn't look too high right now something we're watching with this storm before we all transition to just plain old rain throughout the day on monday. ultimate doppler right now very quiet. high pressure in control a lot of sunshine today. it didn't do much to warm us up though. here's the storm headed our way you can see a lot of snow across the central plains. places like omaha chicago milwaukee indianapolis going to get a lot of snow with this. as it moves eastward it will been all that moisture our area by sunday night into monday morning. out ahead of a winter storm watch for upper bucks montgomery and chester. the national weather service is deciding whether the high chance for accumulations of snow or icing. further north it looks like more of a certainty for the lehigh valley and the poconos back through berks county. winter storm warning and there's an advisory out for lancaster county beginning tomorrow evening. recapping today 29 was the high temperature at the airport. that's it. normal 41. so this was in the a typical winter day in philadelphia. teen was the low. that is also far below normal but not even close to the record low of 3 degrees set back in 1948. let's go county by county with our temperatures outside right now. 12 in the poconos. 26 in lee height ton, 16 in bethlehem. further southward into the 20s. 25 bensalem. 23 warminster as well at the are a airport in south philadelphia. 30 in cape may and 18 in millville. 23 in atlantic city. your fox future cast shows clear skies through tonight. it's another cold start to sunday. clouds will increase pretty quickly not too much sunshine but at least with warmer air coming through temperatures should rise into the mid 30s. snow showers possible towards our north by mid afternoon. but it looks look we're waiting until evening so if you're driving home late from super bowl parties and no judgment here, by midnight, you still at your parties coming home, it could be very slippery even before midnight north and west. that snow will come down and quickly coat the roads. notice most of this is north and west of 95. we see brief snow in philadelphia then we'll probably transition to mix. how long this mick lasts determines whether we have an ice concern or not. model says no we quickly change to rain. icy conditions slow in the lehigh valley and everyone transitioning to rain by midday on monday. that storms pushes out by mid afternoon on monday. what we're talking about when it comes to accumulations, if you're in the city along 95 and points south and east mainly just rain event not going to see much winter weather. just north and west that's all it takes with the elevation change. an inch or two for chadds ford up towards norristown glenside, southern montgomery county and benbensalem towards norristown. up through pottstown reading you guys could be in the two to 5-inch range before changing to rain late in the morning on monday. and then further northward we don't change that late in the game, five to 8-inches and up into the poconos probably even more. 20 degrees in the city overnight overnight. 37 mostly cloudy and not as cold for sunday. your seven day forecast shows 41 there with that messy mix monday and then it just becomes a rain event monday afternoon that moves out we turn much colder again tuesday. a lot like today with 27. temperatures bounce up and down stomach and there was so much leather that vets say that it was not able to pass vince'ss small intestines. they had to remove it. the good news is, this little guy you can tell he knows he did something wrong he's going to be okay. >> you think that's strange. well a police agency in texas finds a big stash of marijuana in what might be considered an unlikely place. hundreds of pounds of pot stashed away in a port o potty truck. fox's noel newton takes look at it. >> reporter: the sheriffs office has the reputation for hauling in big loads of drugs. but when this truck rolled into the back parking lot the deputees were less than enthusiastic. >> at first i'm not helping. >> reporter: inside the tank of this truck used to clean port o potties was nearly 1500 pounds of marijuana. >> right around in this area here is a wall and it has a cut out just big enough to fit those bunting through. >> reporter: when he got inside to clean it out the bundles were sitting in human waste. >> the truck was not stolen. depth pew tess say the man driving it identified as jose navarro is the owner of the company and both the tank and port o potty strapped ton back were functional. >> it is story and whether the cat's owner really believed the animal was dead when they buried him. they point to video up loaded on youtube and facebook that allegedly has comments from the owner's
