that coming up in just a minute, allison. back to you. >> we begin with a developing story. the saga of a teenager from alexandria. we'll get to that other story about the coach arrestd in just a moment. first, detained in kuwait for weeks. he arrived back at dulles airport this among. we have video just into our newsroom of when gulet muhammad came out of customs a short time ago. it was a process that was filled with drama of what was reportedly holding him up from seeing his family this morning. john jones us with the latest. what is the latest? many developments this morning. >> reporter: good morning. the developments are that gulet muhammad are here. he appears tired but healthy. this 19-year-old youngster who has been held against his will by kuwaiti authorities for the last month is now back in the u.s., basically because his lawyers went to federal court and the judge said, he does have a 14th amendment right to be here. the government told the judge we'll make sure he gets back for this trip only. when he came back, he spoke only briefly and we have not had time to turn around to the part of the interview. here is what he said. he said federal agents, american agents told him when he was in custody in kuwait that he was lucky that, instead of just 30 days, he could have been in a hole somewhere for as long as six months and no one would know it. he says that is wrong. he says that should not happen to islamic americans or to any american. this 19-year-old youngster said this is america. this is 2011. this kind of thing should not happen. at the behest of his attorney at that point, he ended his comments. they clearly are very unhappy because, again, this morning -- and he confirmed this to his attorneys, the fbi attempted to interview him, this despite the fact that, in quaid, he repeatedly invoked his rye against self-incrimination. he didn't want to talk unless a lawyer was present. his attorneys are very unhappy that the fbi again tried to interview him and did not allow his attorneys who were here at the airport to talk to him before those questions. anyway, he is back. his attorneys have hinted there is further legal action. they say he has suffered physically. by the way, he did confirm he was tortured. they say he has suffered physically and suffered psychologically and they may seek redress in the courts for this 19-year-old youngster who, by the way, went to annandale high school. he is back,ey letted. they are extremely angry at the u.s. government. >> more on the story later on. >> is the fbi out there -- not that i would expect this, but did they have anything to say about this this morning? >> we never saw him. if you believe him -- and i do -- he was exhibit sented before he came into the public airport area. they got to him in the customs area where the public is not allowed. he went through secondary processing. he was held an hour to an hour half locker than those who came from kuwait. -on, thank you. we appreciate it other news this friday morning police need your help solving a deadly hit-and-run in alexandria. investigators say 26-year-old melbourne clyde leech, jr. was killed while crossing king street at the intersection with park center drive just after midnight. authority say that the vehicle that hit him left the scene. a witness told police the car was a four-door black sedan. anyone with information in this case is asked to call alexandria police. a virginia little league coach accused of sexually abusing children in his care is now in custody. he spent months in europe on the run and oops used an alias. sherrie lee has the story. >> while john hamilton was opt lam, i am told that he lost about 100 pounds which made him more difficult to recognize. but somebody did. he is locked in the fairfax county jail. fox 5 captured video of hamilton arriving. he was arrested trying to cross into poland from the czech republic. in 2009, a man saw hamilton with a young man and went to police telling them that he had been molested repeatedly. two mother young men came forward. he wept to court but they he disappeared. he and his mother took $20,000 and went to europe where a viewer spotted him in germany. >> i think people in fairfax as well as the communities in europe that he was frequenting and traveling through, those places are safer today because he is in custody. >> reporter: investigators say that what mel ton crest crossed europe using an alias. he returned to dulles exhibit national airport yesterday he was caught after interpol red flagged his passport. before he test appeared, a judge here in fare faction county otherred that he be held without bond when he was rearrested. so it's unlikely he will be getting out. that's the
