campos $2500 in exchange for $25,000 grant from prince georges county. the exchanges happen ed twice a year. he initially denied the interaction between the two, until the fbi showed him pictures of across the country buzzing. megan fitzgerald joins us live from the zoo to tell us how they found ollie. megan? >> zoo officials tell us they believe that ollie followed rock creek, which actually backs up to the zoo here, when they got those tips from people in the community sag avenue, they believe they were probably right. now, they tell us they knew it was probably unlikely they were going to catch her in the wild which is why they are so ecstatic today, or as they call it over the moon as she found her way back. here's what happened. it was around 3:30 this afternoon, when a visitor who was here at the zoo spotted what she thought was a bobcat sitting in the pathway near the bird exhibit. they put out traps with food inside, and moments later, they saw ollie hanging out inside. >> they say she has a scratch on her paw and they're not too worried about her health. >> we're going to take our time making sure the exhibit is secure. it looks secure right now, so what can't we see. how was she able to get through that mess. to escape through has been patched up. for the last several hours, starting really on monday, as soon as we realize ollie has escaped. they have been working to make sure, combing through every inch of that exhibit, making sure there's no way a cat will be able to escape again. they tell us at this point it will probably be another couple weeks before visitors are allowed to go back in there and see the bobcats in their exhibit. >> i hope they're spoiling her tonight, maybe a sushi dinner. we appreciate itp p. >> this story's been getting a light rain and sprinkles, that will continue, we may see a few more around the rest of the region. back to the west, there's snowfall, there's a winter weather advisory along the allegheny front here, they're still picking up snow. they've gotten a lot of snow over the last couple days. nothing like that for us. we continue to watch the cloud cover develop, and those clouds all coming down across the jet stream. that's why we've seen the clouds today, that's also why we've been on the mild side, the jet stream has been to the north, tomorr i and go down a little bit tomorrow. partly sunny, a lot of clouds from time to time, partly sunny, blustery afternoon, the winds will pick up, upwards of 15 to 20 miles per hour. colder on friday, high of 41, that puts most of you in the 40s on friday, everybody in the 30s on saturday, high temperature of 38 degrees. windchills on saturday, going to be on the windchill. in the 20s all day, it will be rather breezy, not too windy, winds gusting upwards of 15 to 20 miles an hour. sunday still a 30% chance of light rain or snow, i'm really not seeing much with this at all. temperature around 45 degrees once again, this is a very, very weak system, maybe some flurries to the north, sprinkles to the south, no road issues if you're going out on sunday for those cold ones we talked about, you'll be okay for the super bowl. they're patching up leonard miller's house again. you see a car hit his house again. since he moved here in 1971 he says five cars have crashed into his house. he lives on a curve on a fast road. and early this morning, mr. miller says he was sleeping nearby when the car came barreling into his home it will didn't seem to unnerve him. >> you weren't scared when this happened? >> scared about what? shared his story with us. >> the news 4 i team has reviewed capital police arrest reports and found there's been a spike in arrests for protesters on capitol hill, specifically those who disrupt formal proceedings among the arrests this month, those who disrupt his confirmation hearings for attorney general nominee sessions and tillerson. in january alone, u.s. capitol police arrested 55 people for disrupting congress. that's 5 times as many arrests for disrupting congress in all of last year. a gold star father who captured the nation's attention during the democratic national convention joined lawmakers to protest president donald trump's ig president trump. he and mr. trump got into a war of words during the presidential campaign after khan accused trump of discriminating against muslims. >> this president has endangered the lives of men and women, my sons and daughters serving overseas in the armed forces. ask any member of the armed forces serving overseas. >> minnesota congressman keith ellison was also at that news conference today. a muslim american is running to be the chair of the dnc. >> there are new concerns about a missing teenaged mother and her 5-month-old baby. 16-year-old lizzie rivera and her 5-month-old son aidan were last scene at their home in springfield more than two weeks ago, police initially thought she left voluntarily with the afraid she's in dininger. the child's father may have ties to a gang. bond denied for the widow of the man behind the nightclub shooting in orlando. she knew about omar mateen's plan and even accompanied him on scouting trips to check out the club. she witnessed her husband leave home with a rifle and a bag full of ammunition before the attack. she was arrested near san francisco last month and charged with helping mateen plan the june 12th rampage that killed 49 people. transportation crews around our region are working on a bold goal to eliminate all traffic related deaths. the plan is called vision zero, and alexandria is one of the latest cities to embrace it. how it will work all new at 6:00. >> reporter: these flowers at reminder. crossing the street can be deadly if everyone isn't paying attention. these flowers are here for this woman, 49-year-old, a mother of four killed in december, while simply trying to cross. surveillance video of the moments before hard to watch, it's these moments that are causing transportation agencies to fight back. >> changing the safety culture of our region. sometimes it means you have to make a physical change to an actual intersection like what's happening here in alexandria. this city just adopted the vision zero initiative. >> zero traffic related deaths, that is the goal of vision zero. >> we think it's important to have a bold goal. >> lambert is the head of transportation and environmental services in alexandria. >> it's an acknowledgement that roadway crashes are preventable. >> not far from where that deadly december crash happened. tanno 2-year-old through what is now a changed intersection, with new pedestrians and traffic signals. >> i think anything they're doing to improve the safety around here of the various intersections is only a plus. >> better road design is one thing, drivers say everyone simply needs to be more aware. >> everyone seems to be on their cell phone all the time. if people still ahead, a dramatic scene unfolding inside a delaware prison tonight, several employees have been taken hostage by inmates. they're good for the environment, but recent crash tests reveal safety
