Were told someone found the body in a wounded area behind the burger king on route 1. The victim is in his 20s. Investigators do not suspect any foul play. We know the two more victims at the deadly explosions in Silver Spring and they are both children. They are identified as an 8yearold, david morales, and 3yearold fernando. Work continues to identify the remaining victims. The blast at the Flower Branch apartments, officials tell us it was caused by a natural gas buildup in a basement meter room. In an exclusive sitdown interview with news4, veteran Police Officer Peter Newsham talks about being named interim police chief for d. C. Reporter school Board Members are calling for resignation of the school chair and vice chair after a federal investigation into the systems Head Start Program called the School System to lose its funding for head start. The threepage letter says, while legally, individual members of the board cannot and must not make unilateral board decisions, the board chair and vice chair do so regular lly. This is after they knew about the drastic reports of child abuse and mistreatments and the countys head start but briefed the entire board on the allegations of the ongoing investigation.
