during a university sanctioned cookout for greek life. a car struck two teenagers along the boulevard mayfair. it happened north of tyson avenue around 10:00 p.m. the victims believed to be 15 and 18 years old were taken to the hospital. their injuries are not considered to be life threatening. police say the driver of the white honda that struck the girls kept going but later returned to the morning, we had flooding problems in delaware county and new castle county, delaware, among other places. you could tell why there was a problem around wilmington and points south that's where the heaviest rain occurred. in philadelphia, 1.88 inches. not so much in the lehigh valley and flooding issues through the heart of south jersey and central delaware, as well. future tracker 6 picking up the rest of the rain story between now and 5:00 p.m. not a whole lot going on, maybe sunny breaks warming us up make be things unstable. between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m. looks like there's a chance of strong thunderstorms coming through west to east. the model doesn't want to put this south in south jersey, i would keep your eyes out for if you're in south jersey and southern delaware, as well. 11:00 p.m. there might be more of this, although i think the strong chance of gusty stuff is up until 9:00 p.m. this is a severe weather assessment by the national weather service that came out at 12:30 midway through the broadcast they are pushing high risk for severe weather particularly into the western suburbs and moderate chance in trenton, philadelphia south jersey and delaware is fairly good. lower up by new york. hail would be an issue the best chance of that in the western suburbs, there's a slight chance of an isolated tornado. we don't see this posted around our area very much. i would take that seriously even though it's a low chance of that. it's relative low chance within a 25-mile an hour grid across the region late this afternoon and evening. high temperatures ahead of it are expected to get warm. 76 in philadelphia. 67 in allen torn. cooler by the shore. as we look at where things are going the rest of the way 670s in the afternoon 70s in the early evening and in the
