Reporter well jim here is the deal, traffic on i95 northbound is being diverted to woodhaven road and traveling westbound on woodhaven you can see behind me coming off the ramp here on to route 13 bristol pike, you can see the taillights as all of the traffic heads northbound to street road to access i95 north again its been a mess for hours all stemming from the fatal tractor Trailer Crash on i95, its a traver nightmare all afternoon on i95 and surrounding side streets in ben salembensalem. Its crazy. Crazy. Its a mess. This is the scene from chopper 6 hd after five vehicles crashed at 1 55 this afternoon. Traffic was backed up in the northbound direction of i95 at street road because of construction, a tractor trailer hit a stopped car and careened into the second tractor trailer carrying scrap metal sending it off the highway spilling its content across the highway. Some motorists were stuck south of the crash and north of wood have and road. What is the traffic like . Horrendous, couldnt move, people are getting out and walking around. Traffic was diverted to route 13 and back on to 95 at street road so it was bumper to bumper where traffic was backed up all afternoon. Its bumper to bumper the whole way. The traffic is horrible of course i had to get off at academy road and i normally get off at street road, i was in traffic for 45 mines to go a couple of miles. Police have not confirmed that eyewitness gave us we are waiting on the specifics including which vehicle the person who died was traveling in and that persons identity and we are hearing i95 northbound near street road could remain closed until 8 00 tonight.
