florida, the big question is, what impact will arthur have on us leading up to the holiday weekend, lets go to cecily tynan, what is the story? >> arthur will likely become a hurricane in the next two days, this storm system is really getting its act together. maximum sustained winds up to 50 miles per hour. it's just meandering now east-southeast of cape canaveral, barely moving at all. the outer bands are hitting florida and some buoy reports offshore showing that the winds are picking up to 50 miles per hour and the water temperature is 81 degrees, this is key, arthur is in warm water and moving into the gulf stream which is even warmer and it will encounter wind shear. what this means is that arthur will likely become a hurricane, it will likely track close to the outer banks of north carolina if not directly over it. these are all the computer forecast models, not one has it hitting atlantic city. some even farther. the main threat is on the 4th of july with rip currents. we'll get some winds in trance of this system and then we dry out. you have to be careful with the rip currents, the concern is the heat, the heat index make its feel like 94 degrees and 96 in dover, tomorrow the heat index soaring above 100, the hottest weather so far this year, heat advisories are posted and we'll talk about the heat and humidity and strong storms heading your way in the this is dangerously hot, it's already very hot and it will get hotter, the philadelphia feels like 94 and wilmington 94 and dover 96 and allentown 93, and trenton 92, at the shore though, the wind off
