The National Weather service has continued that Flash Flood Watch through tomorrow morning because of these downpours. We could see 1 to 3 inches of rain with some of these storms that move through today. Now satellite 6 and action radar showing we have mostly cloudy skies at this point and just a you believe can of light sprinkles coming through in one or two spots in our area. Thats not a big deal just yet. The majority of the activity is going the happen late this afternoon into the evening hours. Right now that temperature 75 in philadelphia, warm and muggy, 72 in allentown, 75 in wilmington, 74 in millville and even along the boardwalk in ac were in the upper 60s at this point. Signs of rotation on the radar indicate a possible tornado in central Burlington County between 8 20 and 8 45 p. M. In tabernacle a viewer snapped this photograph over the holy eucharist church. In Camden County this morning the cleanup is under way in voorhees. Every street was blocked with trees. Have to go all the way around to get to my house. Reporter trees uprooted, power lines down. Bill and his family were inside their home on pelham road when he heard a loud noise. This tree in his yard crashed onto his home smashing a hole into the side of his second floor. I have like like nothing ive never really heard. Sounded like a tornado, just really crazy fast winds, very loud. Reporter and back here live in voorhees on pelham road by saddle ridge road you can see the branches are lining the street, debris from that storm yesterday. These branches got torn down. Some of the families here are still anxiously awaiting power. We have seen crews out and about, restoration crews working on this block but obviously theres still a lot of cleanup left to do. One bolt lit a house in the fox chase section of philadelphia around 9 oclock last night. The action cam was there on the scene in the 400 block of chandler street. The woman who owned the house had in fact just sold it just few hours before that storm moved in. The three bedroom home suffered extensive damage. There were no injuries. A frightening and gruesome discovery yesterday by a man who police say was picking through the trash near a vacant home on north third street in kensington. Investigators say among the garbage he found a duffle bag. Inside it was a body of a hispanic woman Police Believe was about 23 years old. Her arms were bound with duct tape and this happened around 5 00 a. M. Yesterday morning. About two hours earlier, homicide detectives say a car was found torched on the 1600 block of bambrey in south philadelphia behind some homes an warehouse. Police are trying to determine if that car belonged to the woman. Neighbors are understandably on edge as they wait to get more answers about who this woman was and why she fell victim to such a horrendous crime. Im terrified. So, the Storm Prediction Center in norman, oklahoma, they decided what areas have that slight risk and they said our entire viewing area could see the Severe Weather with the gusty winds, the downpours, the lightning so its a repeat performance of yesterday and the timing is now looking similar to yesterday, too. So satellite 6 and action radar showing weve got lots of clouds in place, well see some holes here or there and were seeing just some showers trying to pop up. Not any big thunderstorms just yet.
