He talks about teachers having the resources to teach, and the smallest, most Vulnerable Children being able to go to prek. If we build pan economy for all of philadelphia, we will not only grow our commercial corridors and provide a real path for citizens we will break the cycle of poverty for so many of our families. I spoke with mayorelect shortly after his speech. What would you say poverty. Everything hinges on it, prek. Wages, people returning from prison, all of the issued tied up in our poverty problem. And the largest poverty number in the country as far as big cities and we should be embarrassed and work every day to fix. A source close to a student involved tells action news in april a 6th grader sent an explicit image to another classmate and that classmate did the same. The images displaced sexually graphic conduct. Soon the images were being shared with classmates and uploaded to cyber chats via various social networking applications. Police say one student tried to sell an intimate image of a classmate to another student. In one case, a sex act was taken off the internet and portrayed as being that of a female opportunity. In one case a parent didnt realize that some of the images were actually uploaded to the cloud and were being remotely stored. Back in the day it was the big brothers or somebody brothers magazines, and this is just i cant even digest it. So far three juveniles are charged. The charges range from misdemeanors to felonies. You have to clamp down, and you have to stop it at some time. The east Town School District released a statement that it is cooperating with the investigation.
