threateng suicide by cop after a brief standoff with law enforcement, authorities say they were able to safely reach this subject who was just taken to an area hospital, is in custody. some residents guilty in court today. clem beauchamp pleaded guilty to three counts of hivers degree murder. he was immediately sentenced to three terms of life in prison. she was accused of killing felicia brown and her two children in west palm beach. the children's bodies were found in luggage. his employee comes before jury selection in his murder trial which was scheduled to begin on monday. beauchamp pursuit in oklahomamaity. officers going after a stabbing suspect on thursday. that suspect hits speeds as fast as 90 miles per hour, eventually driving off the road. once he hit bad traffic. eventually he was caught and cuffed after surrendering to lice. the driver is wanted fire stabbing that happened wednesday night. there was a passenger in that car, too, but know word on what role she played in the chase. and a cool car thief in connecticut. >> victor: this guy took a blind robbing her. the 69-year-old victim was with her grandson when they pulled off to a store. she was left in the car while the grandson made a quick stop. then the bandit hopped in and took off with grandma. she told the kidnapper she was praying for him in that ride. in the end he dropped her off near a storm store but still roroed her of her stone, $70 in cash and state id car. that's low. >> janine: this is almost unbelievable. a 19-year-old girl is being hailed as a hero in virginia. the fairfax county fire department award her for her bravery last night. >> victor: she managed to save her family from a fire, and it all started when she lifted a car that was on fire all to save her dad. >> first time he said, almost you almost got it up. so i lifted it one more time. finally managed to get it. known i don't know some crazy strength. pulled him out. >> victor: this all happened during thanksgiving break. on his truck when it slipped and fell on him, spilled gasoline and then a fire ignited. that teenager not only lifted the truck to save him. she then got into that burning truck, run above average. at this very hour, miami, it's 79 degrees and feeling look 81. thanks in part to a south wind at 10 miles an hour, drawing some milder air into the area, warmer air at that. the forecast for t t evening, clouds, won't rule out a stray shower. in fact, in parts of broward county tracking one or two showers out there. here's one right over fort lauderdale right now. so a few raindrops here if you're heading out. it's not widespread. they are hit or miss but there could be one or two in the neighborhoods as we coast through the evening. so there's one shower over fort lauderdale. here's another as we look out over the sawgrass expressway. it appears this one may be on a journey toward coral square mall. not much happening over the skies in miami-dade. a sprinkle at best. there, and shows those showers will stay offshore. the warmer air that has all of a sudden come into view, that's pretty obvious when we look at the temperature profile for florida. it's not just us, it's up into virginia florida but tool in the northern part of the state. no worries. there is another cold front that will be heading in our direction this weekend. it's not going to get here saturday. on saturday southerly flow continues, another warm day. ahead of the front we could have a few showers on saturday. the front gets a little closer on sunday. still warm on sunday, but once we push the front through we have cooler air rushing in behind it, and look at you are on lows by monday morning, lower 60s. we're heading back down into that territory. if you're heading to the headed back to class this week many of them were sporting about an damages, bruise webs crutches and casts. we checked with a number of er ands orthopedic specialisses south florida who say hoverboard janine: he'll be okay. a high school senior in north carolina is making headline for her skills in wrestling. >> victor: but what makes her oh exceptional is that she is legal blind. sheas been losing her vitamins since her sophomore year. but sweeten give up her love of wrestling. when liane a is in a match her only requirement is that her opponent keep ton tact with her. >> wrestling kind of distracts me from more -- from my eyesight, i guess it makes me feel pretty normal. >> victor: so far this year in varsity wrestling she had four not bad. on top of everything else she has a 4.7 gpa. she had the option to graduate early but remained in high school of course so she could continue wrestling. >> janine: a rare birth in texas. grandma served as a surrogate for her daughter to battled infertility for so many years. that baby was born yesterday delivered by c-section, six pounds, four ounces. >> by lovely mom offered to give me the greatest gift i cover in my life. a miracle happened and god watched over us. >> janine: surrogacies was closely monitored due to her age, 54. she was considered a health risk but everything looks like it worked out. >> victor: a very ghoul shot was caught a canadian traffic camera. a snowy owl flew right by the lens in quebec. the city's transportation minister tweeted out the lucky shot calling it "gorgeous." experts say that the owl old female otter pup was crying for its mom on carmel beach in california. beachgoers spotted the baby sea otter and they called for help. >> maybe this was ab inadvertent separation. that pup was floating at the surface while mom was foraging for food. >> victor: rescuers were hoping that the sea otter's mom who hear its squeals and come to shore but no luck so the sea otter was taken to the bay aquarium, the monterey bay aquarium where it's being checked outed by vets. they're also looking into a permanent home. we'll take it. >> janine: yeah. >> victor: there's something new at zoo miami. an exhibit called amazing animals built to survive. >> janine: the exhibit shows visitors how different forms of shows how there are so many similarities. the biological systems plants and animals are broken down so visitors can actually see what it's like to live in theild. >> we're going to have it here for the next several months and what it does is offers different windows into the world of wildlife and how amazing it's adapted to its environment. what it does is fosters a greater appreciation l.t. about the magnificence and adapt a bust wildlife. >> janine: amazing animals
