calf spent hours out here in the inlet, just swimming around, wandering around. tonight, fish and wildlife has a boat stationed out here to keep boaters away from them and everybody is hoping that the mother and the calf will swim underneath this bridge right here and back out to sea. >> this is a whale of a video. debbie took this video of a 45 foot endangered north atlantic right whale in sebastian outlet today. the mother whale has an 18 foot calf with her. folks first saw them before 10:00 this morning and the duo stayed all day long. >> when i was shooting the video, to me, the way it laid across the top, it reminded me like i was thinking, okay. is this the lock nes monster or something like that? >> four boats set up a perimeter to set up the whales from boats and a marine abolishperved them from an airplane above. >> this is not a common site. >> very unusual. this is the first time i've seen one come into an inlet. >> marine abolishes say the mother whale is healthy and this is her first calf. they know this whale as clipper. >> clip, yeah, because one of its fins has been clipped. how, we don't know, but it is a marked whale that they do follow. >> you can see the hole right there. >> dozens of people took photos of the whales coming up for air in the inlet waters. >> quite a spectacle, really. >> it's great. it's very good. i'm glad i got my camera and was here all day to see everything. >> less thrilling for folks to get a look at such an unusual. seen in the port canaveral area up until today. that's the last time she was spotted. and they'll be back to 870 -57. new at ten, casey anthony is back in the news. the orlando woman acquitted of quilling her young daughter has started a new business as well beach. fox 35 has ubtabe ed the paperwork that anthony filed with the state when she incorporated her business called case photography llc. she lists the business address as a home in west palm beach. it's the same address as the private investigator that anthony used during her trial. she said a babysitter kidnapped her daughter back in 2008 after the girl was reported missing. 2 -year-old caly's body was found later that year and anthony was acquitted of murder >> and tonight, orlando police telling fox 35 the deadly weekend shooting at glitz ultralounge was not a random act of violence. two people were killed, nine others were injured. happened early sunday morning at the club on universal boulevard. there were around 300 people inside when all the chaos broke out. police are now busy questioning many people about that shooting. and victims to interview and talk to, a lot of evidence to sit through. that's what has been going on since the shooting. >> now the names of the victims have not yet been released. investigators still trying to get ahold of some family members. detectives won't give out any details, but they do say they do have suspects. >> to another shooting that happened near the florida mall. deputies are asking for help from anyone who saw or heard the double shooting that killed two men on friday. deputies found 20 -year-old garland and 19 -year-old destin gunshot wounds in the jc penny parking lot. garland died that night, destin died on saturday. detectives don't think the shooting was random. >> florida senator nelson is calling on the national transportation safety board to investigate why a royal caribbean cruise ship sailed right into a dangerous storm. left thousands of passengers aboard the anthem of the seas. took to social media to show the weather and the ship's condition. luckily, no one was seriously hurt here. anthem of the seas was headed to the bahamas but experienced the turbulent weather overnight off the coast of the carolinas. today the ship was supposed to continue to port canaveral but sailed back to port in new jersey instead. putting their heads together to figure out where to put the homeless. mayors from all around volusia holding a round table discussion to try and come up with? solutions. here's kelly choice. >> mayors from cities all around vug showed up for a round discussion today at the daytona beach international airport. the mayors sent out a survey before christmas do get a take on the homeless population in cities across volusia. they're creating a commission to look at homelessness in different areas. they want a system a system that has comprehensive services. these services would include drug treatment, healthcare, and employment opportunities. current resources like the salvation army and funding from federal and state grants and private donors. >> thumbs up for downtown. ucf gets the green light and the green backs from the city of orlando to move forward on a downtown campus. mike with how much the city is ponying up. >> ucf got unanimous approval for that, around $68 million in land and infrastructure to build their downtown campus. right in the heart of creative villages where they're getting just a little bit under 20 achers to build that school now. they're also going to get the ucf school for digital and interactive media that they're already in in orlando that the city has been leasing to them, plus the city will make several types of improvements in and around the campus to make it all work. all of this comes before an important deadline the city is giving them this land and creative village will chip in another 7 million so that they can go before the university system's board of governors on march 2nd here in orlando and they have to raise $20 million, as well. so far, they've raised $9 million. >> a special trip to the vatican for a central florida priest. father arizona of winter park, one of 125 priests from the united states who have been commons to meet pope francis and receive a special mission of mercy. the pope declared this year a holy year of mercy, enlisted 700 priests to carry the message of mercy back to the communities. the priest will get on the attack with most predicting a the billionaire laying into his opponents, especially jeb bush who accused trump of trying to bully his way to the white house. >> jeb is not going anywhere. this is not a guy that can go anywhere, total stiff. >> trump's anti-establishment rival ted cruz is hoping for a strong showing tomorrow. but perhaps he's looking ahead to as you recollect and beyond. >> dicksville notch. this has been happening since when? >> about 100 years, as i understand it, as long as the primary's been taking place here in new hampshire. my producer just letting me in on interesting information, saying that john kasich personally called all nine voters, asking for their votes. there are 12 people living there. so we'll see what percentage of those votes he gets, but it's always an interesting indicator to see what the elect rotted is thinking, at least those nine people. and then obviously on a wider scale, the polls open up at 6:00 a.m. tomorrow. people have been asking me all day long, how long do they stay open, when do they open. and state law says they must be open between 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., but each individual city and state kind of sets up apartments. on the right, that's a surveillance picture, an actual one of the suspect leaving the apartment complex. 19 -year-old jacob almond was killed in the shooting and if you recognize the suspect we were just showing you or the suspect's vehicle, you should give orlando police a call. >> covering volusia county now, scary morning for a sky diver in de land. during his landing, the sky diver became tangled in power lines and was left dangling for nearly an hour. the florida highway patrol trooper was near the de land airport in york town and ranger roads when the trooper saw the man just dangling there. de land fire and volusia county firefighters were able to get the man down after having duke energy shut off the power. the man was not hurt and also apparently a member of the chloe died when she lost control of her car on alfaya trail and state road 408. her car plunging into a pond. >> if there had been a guardrail in place, i'm 100 % confident that she would be here today. >> that's why lindsey spoke during public comment at tonight's city council meeting during discussion of the being proposed on this side of maitland boulevard where a current orange globe now sits. it's because a retoughness pond is being proposed as part of the project. she says the goal is to encourage cities to be proactive about safer roads near bodies of water, even before the law has anacondas living i . florida fish and wildlife needs your help to get a handle on the anaconda. >> they want to know about anyone who might have one of those dangerous, illegal snakes. >> florida fish and wildlife officials hope you can help them learn more about two green anacondas recently found in brevard county. one was eight feet, eight inches long captured last week in a abolishes found a domestic rat in its stomach so they think somebody owned the snake and recently fed it. a second anaconda was recently found near the brevard county orange county line. neither snake had a transponder in it, which the state requires to track the animals when they're kept as exotic pets in our state. >> you're not allowed to have them without a permit. so if your neighbor is out showing that he has an anaconda or if you know of somebody that has an anaconda, you can call us. it's anonymous. they will never know who called us. >> green anacondas are considered the largest snake in the world. the shoot. this woman's husband snapped a photo of her on atlantic beach east of nashville to commemorate their baby moon and as you can see the photo bomb by the dolphin in the backed, and you can see why this photo ended up going viral. mom had her baby. born last week. the family says there were no dolphin sightings at the hospital. the father did joke that his son would be nick named aqua man
