charlotte as the city prepares for more demonstrations tonight a vyingful for -- vigil for scott. as the night went on some demonstrators turned violent. one person was even shot and killed. >> there's a lot of information about who did the shooting. we're assessing it. so we're investigating that to find the truth, the absolute truth. >> now as the state of emergency is in place, several hundred troopers and members of the national guard are in charlotte. >> primarily their responsibility but it could be changed under the chief of police to help protect the buildings and other structures so the police department can >> the governor mobilized the national guard last night. meanwhile demonstrations in response to scott's death continue across the state. in just under an hour a peace march mr. get underway in downtown durham. cbs north carolina carleigh griffeth is in ccb plaza where people will be gathering shortly. what are the organizer's goals peaceful night. they want people to talk and pray about ways to heal this communities. now williams believe there is is a problem with how african- americans are treated by police. he said the shooting in charlotte is prime amounts of sunshine. the tradeoff is temperatures will get close to 90 on saturday. that won't last forever because this cold front comes through. sure it's going to bring us a small chance of rain on sunday but it will bring us noticeably cooler temperatures. so here's your weekend break tops out atle -- at 88. we're dry. if you want cooler temperatures but don't mind a few clouds and a small chance of rain sunday looks good as we'll top out in the upper 70s. tomorrow, before we get to the weekend we have morning clouds with afternoon sun a small chance of rain and temperatures that will top out at 81. 80 our friday night football is nash central and bunn. the second half mid-70s but we are dry for friday night football. saturday college football, the tar heels a warm one. sunny and 88. there's the cold front and there's your 10-degree drop in temperatures. the 70s not only here for sunday but most of next week. our warmest days next woke look to be around 80, so welcome the
