then nypd police officer brendon cronin who finished training and had been drinking walked up to the car, firing 14 shots, six riddled joseph's body. robert was not hit. >> i can still remember the is say the former police officer gave them a life sentence of physical and emotional pain. >> he demonstrated no remorse. i think his apology was scripted. >> reporter: the former police officer, cronin will spend the next nine years of his life behind bars. the victims have already filed a lawsuit against the city and the nypd. in white plains, mark santia. a group of teenagers is wanted for a violent sneaker robbery. we have the surveillance video from april 3rd that shows the trio following their victim on jerome avenue in the bronx. moments later police say they threw a 15-year-old to the ground. he hit his head and was knocked the suspect stole his air jordans and took off. doctors are treating the victim. the nypd trying to find a suspect behind more than a dozen in queens. police say that is the suspect and a minnesota mani en minivan used. that burglary just one of 16. we did speak with one of the victims who didn't want to show his face. >> when i came home, my wife high ranking nypd officer reassigned as the pressure of a federal investigation grows, forcing plus, we'll take you live to washington square park where presidential candidate bernie rally. and a man who helped send former police commissioner bernard carick is attacked. today mayor de blasio broke his promise not to take any further questions about a federal probe into his fund-raising and possible corruption inside the nypd. after the u.s. attorney said last night that city hall is not immune from scrutiny, mayor de blasio asked his campaign lawyer to ask prosecutors what all this is
