witness from that attack. >> reporter: she was walking home from the neighborhood store without any reason, beaten and killed just feet from her home. she had big dreams and friends say an even bigger smile. she loved to dance, enjoyed fashion and lived for family. her life was not supposed to end on the hard edge of a coney island sidewalk. police say warner was beaten here and fell to the ground along west 24th street on sunday right outside her apartment building. a fall that crushed her skull and took her life. now, a memorial is set up in the lobby. police are charging another teenager, 18-year-old sabrina ford with second degree murder and assault charges. >> she had a lot of friends. >> reporter: her dad was too emotional to speak as he left the building where he and his daughter lived. no one claims to know what led leaves a family in tears and neighbors wondering why. >> she didn't have anything to do with anything from what i was told. she was just walking home and the girl
