>> that's right, the driver took right off, immediately afterward, the police have not been able to figure out who he or she was. the victim is in the hospital this evening fighting numerous injuries. and the victims daughter is urging that driver to turn himself in. >> on the surveillance video, you can see 47-year-old madeline using a walker and carrying grocery bags as she's getting ready to cross the street. moments later, she's in the middle of williams bridge road waiting for traffic to pass, and then a white car clips her and keeps going. >> my reaction was just shock. i'm still in shock. i can't believe that just happened. >> kimberly is the victim's disturbing video. her mother is now heavily is a dade dated at jacobi medical center. >> i feel like i'm living a nightmare, she's okay, and i know she will be. >> police have put up a sign searching for witnesses. >> she was laying on the floor. everybody else was trying to help her out. it was a guy caught in the ambulance. >> she was not in the crosswalk, she was in the middle of the street. and the light changed. but they say jay walking here is common and a necessity. >> the block, it's a long block. take a look at it. you have to look all the way down here. i don't blame her for crossing the street in the middle. >> he should have got out of the car and found out what was going on on. >> i reached out to the mayor's consider adding an additional crosswalk in the middle of the street here, no answer on that, they did say the area is getting a mobil speed camera, that's in reaction to a number of recent fatalities in this general vicinity. reporting live, ida siegal, news 4 new york. >> new information on a story many of you have been following closely. the missing 10-year-old girl from spring valley. we have good news tonight, she's safe. she was found in manhattan. her mother got a phone call from a business owner saying he found the girl wandering the streets. investigators say instead of getting on the school bus yesterday morning. the girl somehow took a cab to manhattan. but she left clues for police. >> we were able to track certain things through social media. she was posting to friends. she knew that she was okay, that she was alive, that she didn't appear to be in any danger. >> police are reinterviewing the girl to find out what happened police released this sketch of a man wanted for pushing a teenager in front of an oncoming train in queens. the train driver managed to hit the brake. the girl positioned herself between the wheels and the subway platform. if you recognize this man, police want to hear from you. this has been causing traffic issues all day. a tractor-trailer carrying fuel overturned in raritan. caus ing road closures and evacuations. this happened near 206 and then the good news, though. the good news is that the area is back open at this hour. jen max field has been at the scene all day. what's going on? temperatures will climb all the way up into the 70s tomorrow, and stay that way as we head into thursday. the evening tonight looks like it's going to be delightful as well. a little bit on the chilly side, of course, as we head through the overnight, but well above average for this time of the year still. you'll need that sweater on, but the temperatures are heading in the right direction. as far as tomorrow goes, temperatures in the mid-70s the weekend outlook sees temperatures drop a bit. we'll be cooler certainly, with a chance of shower activity, but keep in mind we are still well ahead of the norm. 7-day forecast. not bad at all. the question is, has spring sprung?
