happened yesterday. a speed camera vehicle parked on 295 near the bwi exit was vandalized. police say a man walked out of the woods with a hammer and a shotgun and tapped the back of the window with the shotgun. the operator of the speed camera inside the jeep began to blow the horn. that's when the man came to the front of the jeep and smashed the windshield with a hammer. he then ran back into the woods. it sparked a massive search in the area. police shut down 295 in both directions for hours. but they never found the man. the state began using the speed cameras after they approved them in 209. nance -- 2009. state senator nancy jake sobs believed it -- jacobs believed it was about raising movie. >> we -- money. >> we said this is all there is. you are not wanting to protect people's lives it's so you can make money. >> reporter: now again police have not found the man behind yesterday's attack on that speed camera vehicle on 295. the man is described as a white man around 60, 65 with gray hair. but, again, more people seem to be attacking the speed cameras. this one by padonia elementary was attacked in may and the other one in dundalk when someone spray painted the lens. we until baltimore. dulles at 72 and also winchester more of the same in hagerstown. 66 right now in york, pennsylvania and that's the dew point temperature in pennsylvania as well. so if you are driving and satellite and radar not picking up on a whole lot right now. again, we are mainly clear but what happens is we will have a cold front that's trying to push closer to us. but what's going to happen is once again is it's going to stall out a lot of stationary fronts and with that, that's the focal point. as we go through afternoon today and also tomorrow, behind that front, though, yes, we are getting drier air in here. just in time for the weekend. and future radar showing you what's happening asway go through the afternoon. you can see the chance for showers and thunderstorms to pop around us once again. and then tomorrow, it's going to be the better chance for the showers and thunderstorms. we could start in the morning and then get another round as we go into the afternoon
