(standup: don champion / cbs news/ miami, florida) donald trump still leads his republican rivals here in florida - where the contest is winner-take-all.running third in polls - marco rubio hopes his home state delivers him a much-needed victory:(sot rubio) we are not going to allow the republican party to fall into the hands of someone who is going to get crushed in november.john kasich is vying for a win in his home state of ohio -- where polls show he could beat trump:(sot kasich) i think after tuesday we're going to continue to roll. trump is about a third of the way to the nomination with ted cruz close behind.don champion cbs news miami, florida. 3 tomorrow, florida is a make- or- break for rubio..he's dropped to third in the latest cbs news poll, behind cruz and trump in his home state.and ohio is a must win for kasich. he'll get some help from mitt romney in florida today. 3 the candidates made several stops in ohio this weekend.. frontrunner donald trump came out swinging in west chester.. and local12's megan mongillo was there. 3 cheers and chants of trump greeted "the donald" in west chester this afternoon.he wasted no time in attacking ohio governor john kasich - for among many things.. his tv viewing habits.(33:11-33:19 "wait a second you are running for president and the only thing you are watching is the golf channel..come on! he's not going to do the job, ok.) trump's other opponets marco rubio and senator ted cruz weren't left out either.(39:36 - 39:46 "you know you put him in young guy..put him in..little marco, marco, marco") 3 (42:39 - 42:47 "they don't like liers he comes in holding the bible, holds it up high i call him lieing ted.") trump also talked about pope francis, the common core, his time doing business in cincinnati and the wall in mexico. but he got lots of cheers when he talked about a guy he calls charlie hustle: (54:29 - 54:33 "hey what do you think? hey by the way..pete rose..let him in! yay..what are they doing?!) trump also answered questions from the audience. the most pointed one came from keith maupin, the father of staff sergant matt maupin a p-o-w killed in iraq.(57:32 - 57:50 "i came here because of the comment you made that captive soliders aren't heros. what i wanted you do for the veterans here..and all across ohio is to clarify. trump: you 3 know what i was doing..they are heros..real heros.")(36:31 video hits )the only other contentious moment came when 1 guy with a bernie sanders sign had to be escorted out.to that trump said,..it certainly 3 trump was in bloomington illinois before he arrived in the tri-state... and then he ended the day with a rally in flordia.in typical trump fashion, he did find time to use twitter.check out this tweet.it's a picture of a signed baseball from pete rose. with the message: thank you pete! 3 protestors and supporters went head to head at trump's rally.. but no violence like friday in chicago...and no pepper spray like kansas city saturday night.some brought megaphones to west chester.. others just stared and smiled across the police tape line. they were out for hours before trump arrived.. wearing flags, shirts, hats .. and even costumes. 3 "in the last few elections it's been the same old same old and i wanted to bring my children up here and show them how the process works on both sides of it. around trump to protect him. the 22- year- old says he expected to be arrested.the wright state student was charged with misdemeanor inducing panic and disorderly conduct.he's been released on bail. 3
