One person is in serious condition after a hit and run on milwaukees south side. Night Milwaukee Police say a man in his twenties was riding his motorcycle on mitchell street. When he approached the intersection of mitchell and muskego avenue he tried to go around cars stopped at the red light. It was then that the rider was hit by a silver suv. Police say the driver of the suv stopped briefly and then sped off. Anyone with information should call police. City leaders take action into their own hands. After a long debate over what to do about the estabrook dam a plan is milwaukee mayor tom barrett, county executive chris abele and the milwaukee metropolitan sewage district were the minds behind the idea. First the city has to rezone the dam then it will be sold to mmsd for a dollar and then they can tear it down. The trio argues this is the most Cost Effective and environmentally friendly option. Opponents say the dam keeps Property Values high. This proposal is not without controversy because it circumvents the county board Board Chairman Theo Lipscomb is not happy. A missing 10yearold is found safe and a pair of waukesha teens. Are being called heroes. Theyre the ones who found a missing child monday morning. Adam lembke lemkey and Connor Kubiak are seniors at waukesha west. Lembke says his family is friends with the family of 10yearold andrew ounkham. With the schools blessing, the two were among the students allowed to join the search for ounkham, who wandered into a cornfield near his home sunday. Lembke says he and kubiak were about a mile into the cornfield when they say the boy came around a corner and walked right past them. I yelled his name and he was a good ten feet behind us and he names andrew, hes wearing the right clothes so we knew it was him. Lembke says the boys appreciate the kind words theyve gotten since but he doesnt think they were heroic. He believes, with the amount of people out looking, someone was gonna find andrew.
