one person is in serious condition after a hit and run on milwaukee s south side. night milwaukee police say a man in his twenties was riding his motorcycle on mitchell street. when he approached the intersection of mitchell and muskego avenue he tried to go around cars stopped at the red light. it was then that the rider was hit by a silver s-u-v. police say the driver of the s-u-v stopped briefly and then sped off. anyone with information should call police. city leaders take action into their own hands. after a long debate over what to do about the estabrook dam a plan is milwaukee mayor tom barrett, county executive chris abele and the milwaukee metropolitan sewage district were the minds behind the idea. first the city has to rezone the dam then it will be sold to m-m-s-d for a dollar and then they can tear it down. the trio argues this is the most cost- effective and environmentally friendly option. opponents say the dam keeps property values high. this proposal is
