Dejuante wade felt his heart. Begin to beat. Irregularly. They said it was cardiac arrest. Wade walked to his car. And thats where his memory ends. He flung his head back and his feet were out the window and he other hand. Will never forget. Trying to call his name to wake him up and he had just stopped moving. It was advised to us through dispatch that he was pulseless and a nonbreather. Officer rick helm of new berlin. Was quick to arrive. I hooked up a defib that we carry in all our patrol cars. The defibrillator gave wade one shock. His fiance watched. With their two daughters. Ages seven and six monthsold. Evyb going on. She was scared for her dad and i thought we were going to lose him. A minute later. The Fire Department showed up. We started with the cpr and we started noticing that he had a pulse. Marco pelicaric and Carlos Rodriguez say they worked on wade. All the way to the hospital. Shocking him 5 more times. I was dead for 2 minutes, 2 or 3 minutes. Wade remembers nothing. Except waking up at froedtert hospital. When asked if theres one thing he wants this story the cops because if it wasnt for him i wouldnt be here with my family today. Wade was in a medically induced coma. And on breathing tubes. Doctor dont know why it happened the first but wade has an icd implant that will shock him if he goes into cardiac arrest again. Now. He says he feels fine. And its almost like it didnt happen. They left their belongings behind. i have nothing, no food, no clothes everything had been burnt in the fire. I have nothing. wherry got a call around 7 30 that her house was on fire it appears to have started in the upstairs. It happened last night around ten oclock in the area of richards and wright. The victim is a 30yearold male despite life saving efforts by Milwaukee Police and fire, he died on scene. And on the citys south side a stand off ends peacefully near 13th and orchard. Police say there was an argument between neighbors and shots were fired. They say the shooter then went back into hi barricaded himself inside along with his 6yearold son. Officers tried to get the man to come out but eventually had to force their way in. The child was found locked in a bedroom unharmed. The 38 year old man is now facing charges. Milwaukee police say 3 people are hurt after a crash involving a stolen car on milwaukees northwest side. It happened at 76th and mill around 730 this morning. Police say a ford focus that was reported stolen earlier 76th and mill road. It slammed into a chevy suburban. Which then hit a white car. The 18 year old driver and a 19 year old passenger in the focus suffered serious injuries. And are in custody at a hospital. A third person in the focus fled the scene. The driver of the suburban was also hurt, but their injuries are not life threatening. Two juveniles are dead after a car crash friday night near 35th and keefe. Police say the were thrown from the vehicle after it hit a tree. The tried to revive the two but they were pronounced dead at the scene. There were two others in the car at the time of the crash. Police say the 17yearold driver of the car and another passenger were both taken to a local hospital. They are recovering from nonlife threatening injuries.
