Richland county deputies were here late into the night gathering evidence and trying to figure out exactly what happened here at the green lakes subdivision. Heres what we know so far. The Richland County<\/a> Sheriffs Department<\/a> says it received a shots fired call around 8 oclock last night at jadetree and auburn leaf drive. When deputies arrived they found a shooting victim who was the passenger honda civic which had the back windshield shattered. All deputies are telling us right now is the victims wounds were to his upper body. He was taken to a local hospital, where his condition is unknown for now. At one point last night, an investigator took a young man into his patrol for an interview. Neighbors tell wis they believe that young man may have been the driver of the car but were still looking to learn more on that. When deputies arrived they found a shooting victim who was the passenger inside a white honda civic which had the back windshield shattered. All deputies are telling us right now is the victims wounds were to his upper body. He was taken to a local hospital, where his condition is unknown for now. At one point last night, an investigator took a young man into his patrol for an interview. Neighbors tell wis they believe that young man may have been the driver of the car but were still looking to learn more on that. Neighbors also say multiple gunshots were heard in the eastern portion of this neighborhood. But neighbors around the crime scene hadnt heard any, so its possible the shooting may have happened elsewhere. People say this neighborhood is normally pretty quiet.
