Their fellow officers out of the line of fire. So they were in a protected zone. And the officers continued to engage in a gun exchange. Residents were asked to shelter in place overnight until Officers Determined there were no other suspects. The d. A. Says it was a long night. But now great relief after a successful surgery. The patrolmans union says they remain in i. C. U. Other officers on the scene gave these officers lifesaving first aid. One officer had his hand in one of the wounds. I think that was instrumental. In getting the officer down to mass. General. That will usher in a northwest wind that could be gusty tomorrow morning. And throughout the day, the winds will kind of diminish. It will be a little bit breezy. The sunshine is back. Temperatures are cooler. Friday, tomorrow will be a nice weekend as well. But with that cooling, the clear skies, that will really make for some chilly temperatures for saturday morning.
