measures say that the city is broke and out of money and that a partnership between financial institutions the city and private interests are a good way to repair infrastructure and make capital improvements but the council says that the measure has not been an ins acted nearly enough >>we need equity and accountability ... >>summit to assess steak that community groups want to make sure that this infrastructure trust doesn't go through without checks and balances attached to the measure ... they complain that some of the deals in the past were flawed and were pushed through the council hastily >>now they're putting in speed cameras in red light cameras to supplement income that they use to get from parking meters ... the aldermen are expected to pass this measure calling for the partnership to rebuild the infrastructure projects those in favor say this has been done elsewhere with positive results >>this is a proven commodity all over the world in europe in canada they are also claim she spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on jewelry, and more than two million dollars on a luxury motor home. chicago police are conducting an internal investigation.. after a police evanston police are investigating a sexual assault that happened inside evanston township high school. a 14-year-old student has been charged with criminal sexual assault. police say he forced a 15 year old student to have sex against her will. the incident happened monday in a stairwell at the school, during school hours. the 14-year-old student is in custody at the cook county juvenile detention center. he faces one felony count of criminal sexual assault. two boys, ages seven and eight, will have to appear in court ... after admitting they attacked their bus driver and two bus monitors. it happened last friday in michigan city, indiana. the "northwest indiana times" reports the boys got angry and starting cursing when they were told to stop playing catch on the bus. the driver and two bus monitors say the boys then started punching and kicking them. when police arrived, officers say the boys admitted to the attack because they didn't like being told to stop "playing around." the boys were cited for battery and released to their parents. the victim of a brutal attack in chicago's bucktown neighborhood is still undergoing surgeries and struggling with the injuries she suffered two years ago. natasha mcshane and her friend were attacked by a mugger with a baseball bat while warlking in the 18 hundred block of north damen. ireland with her parents.. who tell the chicago tribune that natasha still cannot speak or walk. the accused attacker heriberto viramontes, and his alleged accomplice, marcy cruz, are in custody at cook county jail.. facing attempted murder and other charges. a state police report has been released in the shooting death of a 15-year-old boy with a developmental disorder. calumet city police shot and killed stephon watts at his home in february. watts had asperger's syndrome. police had been called to calm him down. a state police task force concluded that the teen lunged at two officers with a steak knife, cutting one of them, forcing them to shoot watts twice in self-defense. after reviewing the report cook county state's attorneys will *not* file any charges, or investigate the shooting further. orland park police have ticketed the driver of a street sweeper for running a red light in an accident that killed a 15- year-old girl and her parents. police say the sweeper hit the car sunday.. while turning left after the light changed. drug tests are pending.. but police say they don't think alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. 15-year-old samah deis and her parents wafieh and nazmi were killed. her older
