And we can pass along some of the information that has been made available so far today. This was reported that the National Transportation safety boards initial investigation of tuesdays air crash in hartford indicates as a result of an intentional act. The ntsb is in the process for transferring the lead of the investigation from the ntsb to the fbi and the ap is reporting that this is now being kawrmd a case of suicide and not terrorism. Kerry held the first News Conference with just the police chief you see right there. Continuing and ongoing. A couple of facts but before i do that i would like to introduce a few of the people behind me. Lieutenant lewin by the East Hartford Police Department and from his chief, chief of detectives and representatives our partners with Connecticut Police major crime Central District and fire chief. We will get to some of the other information i would like to share with you in a few moments, but i would like to update since the last press conference. For all this is concerned the occupants of the vehicle that was in close proximity of the crash have all been released from the hospital. Further information on that, it was a local resident, a mother and her three daughters, 17, 15 and 5. All have been released from the hospital. Other than being shaken by the incident, they are overall doing great. As far as the scene on main street, we might be able to collection and the Power Company needs to come in and finish doing some of their updates and corrections to the power grade in that area. Dep is finishing the hazmat cleanup. Once that is clear, we will be able to open main street and get things back to normal in this area. We are also appreciative of all the businesses in the area that have come out and reached out out of East Hartford and more specifically paid acknowledgment to the amazing work done by our police, fire, medical emergency personnel, as well as our public works department. One thing that we know from learning from emergency per per acres is to get the information out we have engaged in the system to notify the residents to stay away from the area. The system worked as it should have and at 11 00 last night, we sent out our first message to divert people from the area this morning to work to our advantage. I want to thank you all again, and now i will turn it back this point as it has been released and i released myself further, and information indicates that this plane crash was intentional. But i want to be crystal clear, the circumstances beyond that are still being investigated. Circumstances behind the crash, a pilot. What the circumstances were that led to it being intentional. All windows are open at this point in no clear indication as far as any motive or anything. We are still early in the a lot of work to be done on that and so we are not drawing any conclusion in any way, shape or form. It does appear intentional, and the investigation is continuing. There have been some information released earlier indicating that the fbi was the lead investigators in this. There have been some updates with that. Still a joint investigation between the fbi and the ntsb, in cooperation with the Police Department, the connecticut state police, the faa and our partner agencies. Closed at this point, but we anticipate being able to open it in the near future. More information and detail will be released as the investigation allows.
