Reporter paul lives one street up. He shared this cell phone video with fox 25. He says he has never been so close to something so intense. The only thing did it with us it was like a loud noise like a boom. Reporter paul heard an explosion before the fire. Steve roberts lives a few houses down on the same street. I had felt it. Something jolted the house heard a noise. Reporter a woman believed to be in her 50s lives alone in the home. Steve says he saw her outside somehow she managed to make it out unharmed. She was definitely hysterical. She made out okay she wasnt hurt. Reporter fire investigators have not released the cause of the explosion and fire. But they suspect it involves natural gas. I was sitting right there they come to me and then this happens two seconds later. So thank god they were right around the corner. Otherwise, you never know if you wait too long something bad can happen. I did speak with friends of that Dunkin Donuts employee that was injured. Also tonight one person was killed in a violent crash in fitchburg. The sentinel is reporting that the crash happened on water street near beemis road and police say the crash was between an s. U. V. And a car. Firefighters say that despite pulling the victim alive out of that car, the person later died from their injuries. The victims name is being withheld right now until next of kin can be notified. The cause of the crash is under investigation. Tonight we now know the name of the woman found dead in her apartment in millbury after a fire. Night. Officials now say 56yearold Deborah Mcnamara was found unresponsive while that fire burned in her apartment. The medical examiner is now working to figure out exactly what went wrong. But the fire is not considered suspicious. The ntsb continues investigating what caused a plane to crash just moments after takeoff killing this pilot. Ntsb crews moved the plane examine the engine. 66yearold gary weller of putnam, connecticut was flying that plane. Fox 25 learned this morning 61yearold lori sutton was hit and killed on route 6 on friday night. Her daughter says she office on her way to work at the time. The driver is a 21yearold woman from brewster. She did stop at the scene. That investigation is ongoing. Tonight the search continues for the suspect in a stabbing in cambridge. It happened friday night near the North Cambridge Catholic Cemetery on wren street. Police say a 27yearold meet a woman who he had talked to on facebook thats when two men walked up tried to rob him then allegedly stabbed him. Thankfully that victim is expected to be okay. Police say they responded to the report of a crash at the Lake View Cemetery late last night. They found a truck had crashed into a pool and fence but the driver was gone. Where early sunday morning a woman was jumped and stabbed, police say, after attempting to fight off a robber. The attack actually happened in the rear alley behind number 137 park drive. Police report he pushed the woman to the ground and attempted to grab her purse and when she resisted he pulled out a knife threatening to kill her.
