We got brandnew information from Clearwater Police about the timeline of events leading up to when the boy went missing. About 1 30 this afternoon. A white ford fusion was reported stolen off of boland avenue. The mother left the child in the car, came back. The car and the child were gone. Youre looking at a map here as we pinpoint some of the locations with clearwater pd. Police learned the vehicle was equipped with a gps unit. They were able to track it on drew street and then us19 at times going the wrong way in us 19. The car crashed 220 this afternoon. The driver was in custody. He denied any knowledge of knowing that the child was in that car. Take a look as well as those watching right now. These are live pictures from action air 1. This is where the car crashed right at us19. The person who stole the car or who they say stole the car is in custody right now. Theyre asking them questions. The mother of the child is also being questioned at this time. Theyre trying to figure out what happened with all of this. As ashley said, this child is still missing. But i want to show you what what we have seen here as far as tornado reports. So we did have one that was just there on the corner of Desoto County going into polk county earlier as a tornado report. The only one reported with any charlotte. It was a bunch of trees down, some light posts and windows in a building damaged. So really minimal in comparison to what others have seen we still have heavy rain moving out of highlands right now. A few patchy showers in polk county. The rest of the night what you will notice the most is the winds. We have gusts in the 30 Miles Per Hour range. And sustained winds coming in behind the front as high as 25 Miles Per Hour. So expect it to be breezy, gusty at times, and cooler air moving in. You will be waking up tomorrow morning to temperatures in the low 50s in tampa. We will see at least partial clearing of the skies here tonight. No more significant rain for the rest of the evening. But ill show you what is ahead. Slight chances for rain. And also how long those winds will stick around coming up. Right now, probably the most dramatic video of the damage we have seen so far, this is from a drone. The mom knew that the father was dead the entire time and did nothing about it. She is the prime suspect moving forward. I want to show you her mug shot. She is charged with accessory and lying to police in the death of her longtime boyfriend. Clark was shot in the head sometime thursday at their home in winter haven. His body laid there all weekend long while the sheriff says the girlfriend intentionally avoided the house, taking the three kids around to motels and relatives homes. It was the 19yearold who found the body when she arrived home with her 7yearold and 10 yearold siblings. What makes me so mad that i star allowed that 19yearold girl to come in and find who she calls her daddy dead. Judd says the girlfriend even went back to the house on sunday night with her brother and asked him to help her move the body. He wanted nothing to do with it and told her she needed to call for help. That call of course never happened. Again, star right now is not facing any charges for murder but that could change soon. Then this was a picture taken from a drone. This was a building here. You see these cars still here. I mean, two miles of destruction with that possible tornado that touched down there. Clearwater police saying that the mother fabricated the story that her child was in a car and someone took the car. We want to reiterate that the child was not in the car and also tell you that police say the 3yearold boy, he is safe right now at a day care. Two people are now dead in virginia from the powerful storms. The storm system we saw coming across the east coast. Thats what brought us the rain, tornado watches and warnings earlier today. Hopefully we will have the pictures for you in a little bit. I want to bring in shay ryan. Its amazing how long the storm stayed together. This was way back in louisiana and alabama a couple days ago. Thats right. We were talking about it yesterday and it created issues overnight and in the panhandle as well. This is the same storm system that laura was telling you about that is now responsible for more deaths in the mid atlantic states. You can see that we have tornado watch boxes still in place here in evening. Ask this is that same frontal boundary that moved through our were in the clear now. And much weaker system in florida. We still had tornado warnings. Behind it we will see the cooler, drier air moving in. If youre traveling to move into the northeastern states or the gulf, the great lakes, you could have delays due to the system. Take a look. This is not the way that you want waterfront property. In pinellas park, the neighborhood actually doesnt flood. But her street was looking more like a river today. Hopefully we will see some improvement as the drainage picks up. But in her area she said there wasnt any damage but it was impressive with the heavy downpours. Lakeland 75 right now. You will start to notice the cooler air overnight. I think still with 68 and that cool breeze coming in in a lot different than it did earlier today. 70 in mcdill. Right now 69 in clearwater and tampa. You can see the rain on the futurecast still moving out to the south and to the east. And that cooler, drier air coming in. At 8 00 at night were nice and dry. But you sigh the patches of green around midnight. Thats where the winds may pull a little bit of moisture along with it. We could get sprinkles closer to the coastline. Mainly we will see the extra cloud cover out of the flow. The gusty winds continue into tonight. That slight chance for a few sprinkles, nothing extreme. And check out the temperatures over the next couple of days. Tomorrow we top out at 64. And then friday morning and saturday morning and sunday morning, were in the 40sin tampa. Again, the missing child who has been missing for two, three hours we thought was found safe at a day care. Now being put into that police car.
