Now time for talking with joe from the wqma studios, talking about all those live recruits headed to the u, thrashing up their u symbol, what do you think of mark ricks first goal of recruiting players to the university of miami . Considering when he took the job and how late in to the ball game it really only had a couple weeks of actual time to recruit legally, i thought he did a fantastic job, you know. Mark rick came in, got some of his own guys, got some really good wide receivers, some really good line backers, theres still some positions hes going to have to build up over the next couple years like defensive tackle. But i like what mark rick did for a guy coming in, it wasnt a job where he had a chance to recruit these guys for a couple years to the university of miami. This guy, hey, dont leave, we want to keep you, we like you. Hey, just give us a shot, come in on the last couple weeks on a recruiting trip. So i thought it was a pretty good save by mark rick overall. All right, joe. What do you think of all the hoopla that surrounds these recruiting announcements, these are just young men, high school students, their parents are there, all decked out and very happy as well. A big moment in their lives but do you think its maybe a little too much too soon for these guys . You know what, its become such big business, ive had to stop being that old guy and say, you know what . Its all about entertainment, espn yesterday and all the national tv sports shows gave so much time. They set up times for the top players to really get and they were thanking they were thanking everybody. We had a guy jump out of an airplane to tell he was going to auburn, another guy dressed up he was going to bam. Alabama, the student athletes getting in to it, theyre making everybody wait, they bring their four, five hats and they mess around examine and then they pick one up and everybody goes crazy. It is over the top, but i found myself watching a lot of it which really doesnt say much about me. Im sure people were glued to their sports channel to see exactly who was going where, see if theres any last minute changes nirks surprise any surprises, see how it all shapes up for the u and all those florida schools, thanks so much, joe.
