More than 35 cases have been reported in south florida. Now over the weekend, several nontravel related cases were reported in miami beach. Some of those cases were reported on south beach. And the centers for Disease Control is asking pregnant women to avoid some areas of south florida. Maybe even reconsider traveling to the state. Pregnant women are in serious danger if they contact the zika virus. They risk delivering with severe developmental problems. Now local doctors are telling women to avoid getting pregnant altogether.
