are they getting involved? >> that's right, jenn. state lawmakers came up with proposals to allow both spouses on the birth certificate. unfortunately their plan did not get much traction. haven. let's talk about weather. it's an interesting day. it looked like maybe it was going to rain and then it would get sunny and look like rain. we have rain. check this out. check out this graphic. you know it was kind of dry for a time period, right. yesterday and this morning, we picked up a quarter inch of rain. it was the first rain we had seen in 17 days. we had 17 dry days, making it the driest stretch we have seen in tampa bay in two years. so not much rain last night and yesterday. but we needed the rain. it helped and tomorrow, the pollen will be in moderate range. if it doesn't rain, it goes up, so the sniffles and sneezes tomorrow. temperatures right now, right around 80 degrees in tampa. a tad cooler toward the coast. upper 70s. inland, we're in the middle, if not upper 80s. seabring is 87 degrees right now. and we have a bit of humidity as well. we're starting to gradually head back into that type of season. we have a dew point right now of 70 which is a little sticky. a little uncomfortable. not summer heat and humidity, but a little sticky today. satellite and radar picture has quiet town. so the mix of clouds and sunshine we saw earlier and the spotty rain drops. that's over. that's cleared out a bit . this evening, we could see inland showers possible. looking at the big picture, we have to go all the way to the pacific northwest to find the next impact us. in fact, here we go throughout the rest of the week. that front is going to slide all the way across the country. it's going to make it all the way down to the florida georgia border. put on its brakes and say, nope, not going further south. it's going to stall there. and low pressure system will develop along it. that will move eastward and that low pressure will be our next rain chance, which will move in it looks like on late friday, saturday. possibly lingering into sunday. here's a closer view this evening. a very, very isolated inland shower. otherwise, a pretty nice looking evening. temperatures kind of warm. right around 73 degrees by 9:00 p.m. and remember that later sunset means temperatures will be warmer later. by tomorrow morning, a bit of sea fog is going to move in. and we'll have a few sprinkles, maybe a little drizzle to go with the fog in the morning hours with a low temperature near 68 degrees. by tomorrow afternoon, we're looking good. sunshine. beautiful looking day. warm, high temperatures of 80 degrees and a nice dry day tomorrow. overnight tomorrow, sea fog developing. warm. a low temperature around 6 8 degrees -- 68 degrees. tomorrow afternoon, becoming mostly sunny. it's going to be a good looking day. warm temperatures topping out right around 80 degrees. of course, the madel air fest is weekend. we have a descent chance of rain during the air fest. hopefully not, but it looks like on saturday that could be an issue and a lesser chance on sunday. hopefully conditions will improve though because we want great weather for the air fest in town. tomorrow, again, some morning fog. same thing goes on wednesday. saint patty's day is looking good. and then friday at 20% chance for a shower. saturday looks like the best chance for rain with a cool front moving through. a few scattered showers and storms and ironically when spring begins temperatures drop. we're going to be in the upper 60s for high temperatures on monday. so -- >> that's a big swing there, isn't it?
