fatal shooting in the city less than a year earli. earlier.he tells cbs 58's jacob kittilstad that the connection is 'concerning'. jacob joins us now live from this attorney calls the connection concerning because it's rare for police officers to have two fatal shootings in their entire career...much less in the span of eleven months. jon sanfran represents the mother of jay anderson's child. he says he's currently waiting to see if the milwaukee county district attorney will decide to level charges against this officer.it's unclear - at this point - if the prior fatal shooting will come into play in that decision.here's the timeline...in july of 2015 a 29-year-old man was after - wauwatosa police say - he approached officers with a sword.flash forward 11 months - that same officer approaches jay anderson who was in his vehicle at madison park. family members say he wasn't doing anything suspicious and had simply fallen asleep. authorities say anderson had a weapon in his vehicle.the question safran has is: what resources were available to that officer between these shootings? aevermann reports on just how many people the job cuts will affect. harley spokesman confirming for us today that 225 salaried workers and 70 contract workers will be laid off between now and the end of the year. it's unknown how many of those jobs will be based in wis. wisconsin.the company releasing its third quarter earnings report... showing that worldwide motorcycle sales are down four and a half percent.it's even more sluggish in the u-s, with compared to the third quarter of 20-15.what does this all mean?the company says it plans to streamline its operations, and spend 20 to 25 million is proposing new rules to ease some of that pain. starting with luggage.the government luggage is lost the new rules would go a step further and include refunds for bags that are substantially delayed.also - when it comes to flight delays - airlines would not onl have to report their own delays but their regional partners as well.and there could be more transparency when you buy a ticket online. sites that sell airline tickets would be prohibited from favoring one airline and not showing all available ticket prices.not everyone is happy with the proposal. airlines for airline trade organization -- cautioned the rules "could harm customers by re- regulating how airlines sell their products, driving up the cost of air travel."some of the new rules will take effect in the rules
