on the investigation. antoinette: this crash had route 1a and part of the ted williams tunnel shut down for hours this morning. two people riding in a hotel shuttle bus were killed and another four taken to the hospital. the crash involved a dark-colored subaru. you can see how smashed up it was as it got towed away f man from swampscott, rear ended the hampton inn shuttle bus which had just gotten onto 1a from the airport. that caused the shuttle bus to hit a side barrier and that's when two people were thrown out. we're told they are a 59-year-old man and 47-year-old woman from el paso, texas. the shuttle driver, two passengers and and the driver of the subaru were all taken to mgh with non-life threatening injuries. we reached out to the hampton inn logan airport location and they would not comment. seatbelts. police are still trying to figure out whether they were used. state police say their investigation continues, and depending on the outcome of that investigation criminal
