If you look outside, already starting to see peeks of sun. Youre going to notice the cracks of sun and were going to start seeing the warmup. Heres our feelslike temperatures currently. It does feel pretty chilly this morning. 29, lancaster. 33 for philadelphia and millville at 30. A lot of us feel we are at or right near freezing for our temperatures right now. Now, most of us are actually in the 30s to low 40s, but because of some breezy conditions, it feels a bit colder. We have a few clouds lingering along the eastern edge. Otherwise, Clear Conditions, and today, it is a sunny forecast for us, which is why temperatures will climb about 10 degrees warmer than what we saw yesterday afternoon when many of us sat in the 40s. Heres the look. We were at 59 on thursday. Very close to average for this time of year, which is 61. Yesterday, though, in the afternoon, we only hit a temperature of 49 degrees. But look at the climb to come. 58 today. 68 sunday. And you are looking the right. Monday, we get to 80 degrees in the forecast. We are tracking dry conditions for a while, too. The fbi is now assisting New Castle County police in their search for the man who kidnapped and sexually assaulted a 4yearold girl. Police have been scouring sections of wilmington, looking for clues. Nbc 10s matt delucia is live in wi wilmington where the girl was discovered. Matt . Reporter and rosemary, police want parents to be on the lookout and aware of whats going on here, and especially warning their children about the dangers of going into cars or even speaking with strangers. This incident happened on thursday evening and New Castle County police say they were called out to this neighborhood of plum run after the 4yearold went missing. About two hours later, police found her walking alone in banning park and police have been going now door to door, trying to find Surveillance Video. And children saw this whole thing happen. Witnesses say the man pulled up in a dark sedan with tinted windows, as kids were playing outside and he started talking with the young girl. I saw him wave his hand to get in the car. He snatched one of they will and started chasing after the car. Reporter the girl was taken to the hospital for treeatment, but police do say that she was sexually assaulted. She has since been reunited with her parents. But again, that kidnapper is still out there. Police are looking for that man this morning and because of that, they are warning parents to just keep their eye out and just see if anything looks suspicious. New from overnight, police in Gloucester County are looking for a gunman who shot a man in the arm. Were working to find out the victims condition. What we do know from police is that the victim identified the suspect, who took off before officers arrived at the scene. Just days before the passover how old, vandals strike another Jewish Cemetery in our area, this time in delaware county. An nbc 10 viewer sent us these pictures from mt. Springfield. She tells us she saw about 30 toppled headstones while visiting her fathers grave yesterday. Police are now investigating. You may remember back in february, somebody desecrated about 100 headstones at a Jewish Cemetery in philadelphias wissinoming neighborhood. The community worked to clean up and repair the damage. There are no arrests in that case. You are looking at a local protest of the u. S. Air strikes in syria. Members of the Syrian Community in allentown organized the rally last night. The u. S. Military has just released these satellite images of the damage from those air strikes. Dozens of tomahawk missiles hit a Syrian Air Base that launched a deadly chemical weapons attack on the opposition in syria earlier this week. Russia, an ally of syria, called the u. S. Air strikes an act of aggressi aggression. Moscow denies that syrias president , Bashar Al Assad was behind the Chemical Attacks that President Trump used as justification for the air strikes. The administration insists it will place more sanctions on russia, but its not saying if more military action is ahead, as the u. S. Continues to investigate that chemical attack in syria. [ chanting ] all right. Now back to allentown, where the reaction from the syrian immigrants here could be described as complicated. Theyre largely christian, supportive of syrian president , Bashar Al Assad, a and also of President Trump. But the response to President Trumps action this week was split. We supported candidate trump. He promised a lot, but hes not doing what he promised. If there was a chemical attack, how come the chemical attack just hit 16 children . Somebody had to do something . You know, the mans killing his own people and i dont understand why everybodys so mad. The one thing everyone agreed on is that the end goal in syrias civil war must be peace. Now to another hot spot. North korea. Nbc news has learned exclusive details about topsecret multioptimult military options now in front of President Trump. Theyre offering three scenarios should diplomacy fail. The first is placing Nuclear Weapons in south korea. That move would be considered an aggressive show of force. Option two, target and kill north Korean Leader kill kim jongun. The third option is covert action. This would involve u. S. Special forces entering north korea to sabotage key infrastructure there. Experts such as former nato Supreme Commander James Stavridis say all three options should be considered. Its mandatory the present the widest array of options. Thats what enables president s to make the right decision, when they see all the options tonight table in front of them. Investigators a still trying to figure out if anybody else may have been involved in the attack. The truck slammed into the side of a Department Store yesterday. It had been stolen just a few blocks from the crash scene. Four people were killed in the attack. 15 are in the hospital, hurt. Back here in the u. S. , on monday, in washington, judge neil gorsuch will become a Supreme Court justice after winning confirmation from the u. S. Senate. The judges approval by a 5445 vote followed a drawnout battle by democrats and republicans. The gop had to change senate rules to quash a democratic filibuster tonight nominee. Some senators were engaged in high fives on the other side of the aisle. Im not sure why. I dont think it was a time for any winning celebration. The real reason why most of my friends on the other side oppose judge gorsuchs confirmation is that President Trump nominated him. Gorsuch will be sworn in on monday. We had a victim that was unconscious, plebleeding from t head in the parking lot along with another victim who had a swollen nose. Reporter both were rushed to the hospital and Police Tracked down the father and son at a nearby home. Reporte at that residence, they met with the two suspects who were covered in blood at the time, fresh blood on their body. Well, it makes everyone look bad. Reporter loyal philly sports fans are outraged that a fight over football turned vicious. I like the phillies, my girlfriend likes the pirates. I dont beat her up. Reporter the tavern owner was hurt simply trying to break up the fight and the entire ordeal was caught on Surveillance Video, but investigators arent ready to release that footage. God forbid anybody pass away during a fistfight, theres a possible charge of a murder charge coming. Reporter Police Believe the victim with facial fractures will recover from his injuries. Were 40 degrees in philadelphia. You can see from the live look outside, the sun is up and it is clear. In the suburbs, were at 36 degrees. Feelslike temperatures, though, are close to or a little bit above freezing for much of our area, because its a bit breezy. And they are also warning parents about the dangers of strangers, of course, and what to tell their children. This incident happened a couple of days ago on thursday evening. I think that what we have is a monster who was riding around looking for an opportunity. I want you to be vigilant. When your kids are playing outside, i want you to make sure that an adult is supervising, has eyes on those kids. Reporter police say that girl was sexually assaulted. She was taken to the hospital for treatment, but she has since been released and reunited with her parents. But because that kidnapper still out there, police cannot stress enough to parents to make sure that kids are aware of those dangers that are out there and also to keep an eye out for themselves, just to make sure they dont see anything suspicious. New this morning, three people are hurt, one of them critically after their car oas overturned in philadelphia. The accident happened along kelly drive in east falls around 3 00 this morning. Were told the driver is in Critical Condition with head injuries. His two passengers had lessserious injuries. An overturned car in southwest philadelphia sent the driver of this accident to the hospital. Nbc 10 was on the scene along i95 near the airport where the car veered from the northbound laneses and rolled down an embankment. Medics took the driver to the hospital with ed thhead, neck, back injuries. No word on his condition. Police are still looking for the cause of this accident. Take a look at this new video that shows firefighters rescuing a man as the inside of his north Philadelphia Row home was collapsing. Crews say leaking water mauy be to blame. Firefighters strapped him to a stretch and carefully lowered him from a window to the street below. They got there just in time and he was treated for minor injuries. Now to the latest to the crisis in syria. The u. S. Is promising to keep up pressure in syria and russia following a nerve gas attack that killed civilians, including children. Nbc national correspondent, jay gray, reports. Reporter 24 hours after the u. S. Missile strike, new images of the damage at shayrat air base. Officials think 60 tomahawk missiles were launched, one misfiring into the mediterranean. The rest, direct hits. Damaging 20 syrian aircraft, as well as hangers, fuel, and weapons depots. The signal is as important as the actual damage that was done.
