Trenton. 25 mile, pottstown a little better at 1. 75 mile. You can see down allentown and redding through lancaster as well. So these are our fog shois zone. Rain is passing through parts of delaware as well as the jersey shore. That will corporate for a couple more hours before this starts to thin out. In fact, we pull this out a little bit, you can see the end is near. But this is just the beginning. This isnt even part of our first alert. Our first alert is for our entire viewing area due to a nors center that will develop as we move through tomorrow. From sunday night through Tuesday Morning our first alert is in effect. That means your morning commute could be a rough one with rain heavy at times by tomorrow afternoon. Damaging winds developing by tomorrow morning. All of that could lead to minor coastal flooding. Its a bridge used every day by more than 40,000 drivers. Now the bridge linking the pennsylvania and jersey turnpikes will be closed for weeks for critical repairs. Get used to seeing these roadblocks. We are right under the turnpike bridge. You can see the cranes and the work going on through out the night, even in the fog. The big issue, its anyones guess as to how long its going to take to fix. Engineers and construction workers have been trying to temporarily stabilize this bridge. Friday afternoon a worker discovered a track on a steel truss on the pennsylvania side of the bridge. Traffic was shut down and the work happening now is that they are installing towers that will support the weight of the bridge. Drivers we spoke with are already getting nervous. Add an hour onto my work every day, my guys, my trucks, everything. Reporter here are the alternates so you can plan ahead of time. Coming from pennsylvania into new jersey, you need to exit at bensalem, then follow route 1 to i95, then 295 to 195 and from there get yourself onto the new jersey turnpike. Com and the nbc 10 app. Its a big deal considering roughly 42,000 vehicles pass over this bridge every day. Its important to get those plans in place. A Chestnut Hill neighborhood is on edge today after a sex assault took place inside a home there. Philadelphia police say a man broke into the home and sexually assaulted a woman in front of her husband. It happened early yesterday morning. As we go into the later part of today into this evening, we may start to see some rain as well. The bulk of the system really affects us on your monday. Radar and satellite, currently the showers are south. This is part of sussex, kent county, cape may county, into Atlantic City. Now its out of ocean county. That will continue to move off over the next two hours or so. By 9 00 a. M. Most of it should be out. Look at everything thats still coming our direction. This is a massive system that has been spawning tornadic activity. Watches over parts of georgia, florida as well as parts of the carolinas. By right around the next couple hours, notice the leftover rain weakens and we see cloudy conditions by 10 00 a. M. This is light on the rain weve currently seen. By 10 00 a. M. , most of us should have cleared out. Then we see damp conditions for the rest of today with light winds. By 5 00, next round of rain is clipping new jersey, delaware. I think it may extend up to philadelphia, even parts of the suburbs. This lingers from around 5 00 to 9 00 p. M. Overnight, spotty rain but the best chances start monday. There we are at 6 00 a. M. , already seeing scattered showers. By 10 00 a. M. , were having rounds of steady to heavy rain. This just continues. The oranges, the yellows, the reds blowing up the board here. Thats the heaviest showers and rain moving through as we hit your afternoon. It continues through your afternoon and into your evening. 10 30, also notice temperatures start to drop enough that we may be able to see a little icing concern for parts of the pocono mountains, although again its going to be very borderline with those temperatures by monday night. The big concern, the high wind gusts i mentioned a few minutes ago, high tide for tomorrow morning, 4 13 rehoboth beach. Minor coastal flooding possible by tomorrow morning.
