big delays. we'll keep you updated to make sure there's no big backups by the scene. police are looking for a woman they say shot a man in frankford at about 12:30 in the morning. they found a man in his 40s lying on the sidewalk with gunshot wounds to his face, back and legs. medics rushed him to the hospital. is he expected to survive. witnesses say the woman who shot him took off in a gold or gray sedan with another man. so far, police have made no arrests. going toe to toe for a good cause. several philadelphia nonprofits are hosting a boxing event that will make an impact all across the city. nbc 10's pamela osborne is live for us in philadelphia's northern liberty section this morning. you spoke with philly legend johan sr. about the night at the fights. >> i certainly did. he's extremely excited for night at the fights as are a lot of people. when you hear the word boxing you automatically philly. what you sometimes forget or don't think of is the heart that goes into the fight and the heart that those fighters have for the young people and the community around them. joe hand has gyms like these all across the city. the idea is simple, keep kids off the streets and give them something to take pride in and what better way than boxing. >> philadelphia is considered a fight town because the number of champions that we've had. and because of the number of gyms we've had and the way that they're trained in philadelphia. >> we sat down with boxing and broadcast legend joe hand sr. he tells us one day he got a call from bobby keys, chairman of the urban league of philadelphia. he's a regular at the gym and had an idea. why not put on a fight to raise money for joe hand's boxing and the urban league and serve even more kids in the process. that's how night at the fights came to be. >> this is a great opportunity for families to get together. >> and an even greater opportunity for young and up and coming fighters. there are 10 to 15 fights on the card saturday night. >> it's a big opportunity for the kids of philadelphia to fight in the center rather than a local gym or something like that. >> when doing this story, vai, i hear there will be a or the number 710 which is the word oil upside down. police in philadelphia are looking for four teenagers who they say beat up and robbed a man on the temple university campus. you're looking at surveillance video of the assault on sunday night at 13th and norris streets. another surveillance camera captured the faces very clearly of the suspects as they walked east on norris street. we spoke to people on campus that said they were shocked because the area is so busy all the time. >> personally, i feel look the campus is still safe. it does make you double think everything. >> police said the girl's bathroom at howard high school. at a meeting on monday, wilmington's police chief said investigators have identified three persons of interest and expected charges to be filed by the end of brief downpours during the blue cross broad street run. that's noontime on sunday. the rain will continue into sunday afternoon. so not your typical sunday weather, certainly. 55 degrees today with some of the animals have found a new home in north jersey. they're adjusting quickly to their new environment in madison, morris county. more animals will arrive at the facility in the next two weeks. veterinarians will treat the dogs for medical issues and place them up for adoption around the country. you'll have a chance to adopt a new best friend. ten dogs called the action pack will represent the animal care and control team of philadelphia at a booth along the race route. ten runners will participate in honor of the dog to raise awareness for homeless pets in philadelphia and raise money for new kennels at the shelter. >> when we replace the kennels we want to make sure they feel safe, have less likelihood to get sick and ultimately they'll get adopted faster and be better pets for the girl's bathroom at howard high school. at a meeting on monday, wilmington's police chief said investigators have identified three persons of interest and expected charges to be filed by the end of into the early afternoon hours, some scattered light showers for philadelphia and into south jersey. clouds through the day at 5:30 this afternoon, for the evening commute. rain more likely in the allentown area. a few showers in philadelphia, too. a chance of showers that will be around into this evening. 9:30 this evening. then we get a break. overnight tonight, the clouds will finally turn the valve off and stop producing rain. may even see breaks of sunshine. not a lot of sunshine. clouds will linger into the afternoon. we'll see a warmer day on saturday with some breaks of sunshine. but the showers to the west will be moving right back into the area. that's late saturday night, just before midnight. you can see the rain moving into the pennsylvania suburbs and heading towards delaware at that hour. and then here it comes for sunday morning, 6:00 in the morning. that steady rain through the philadelphia area and during the morning hours, we could see moderate showers, even brief downpours during the blue cross broad street run. that's noontime on sunday. the rain will continue into sunday afternoon. so not your typical sunday weather, certainly. 55 degrees today with some of the animals have found a new home in north jersey. they're adjusting quickly to their new environment in madison, morris county. more animals will arrive at the facility in the next two weeks. veterinarians will treat the dogs for medical issues and place them up for adoption around the country. you'll have a chance to adopt a new best friend. ten dogs called the action pack will represent the animal care and control team of philadelphia at a booth along the race route. ten runners will participate in honor of the dog to raise awareness for homeless pets in philadelphia and raise money for new kennels at the shelter. >> when we replace the kennels we want to make sure they feel safe, have less likelihood to get sick and ultimately they'll get adopted faster and be better pets for
