But what we are watching is an area of low pressure spinning right around baltimore. So this is what is really giving us the rain through much of south jersey and delaware. Some of this is locally heavy. But most of this is still continuing just to move in and move through these sections of the area like delaware up into south jersey. So this is something that we will be watching as we go through this evening. So where you see the yellow in south jersey and delaware, that shows you the heavier rainfall, the green lighter rain. But its fatherly consistent. Cape may county moving in to Atlantic County, that lighter rain, mays landing has heavier spots approaching. Also near vineland lighter rain. It could edge into the philadelphia area. So maybe a few showers later on this evening, but overall quite a difference in the temperatures because of rain. Rain to the south of philadelphia and farther to the north especially the lehigh valley. Were looking at milder temperatures because we have quite a dividing line with this rain and the rain is affecting the area temperature. So here is a look at the radar. The heaviest down around parts of Suffolk County and also into parts of cape may county, but if we zoom in, you notice a lot of the heavier stuff is offshore. We do haven a area of low pressure spinning around baltimore. You can see the circulation. The low will move across the area, but a lot of models are weakening it as it does so. So most of the rain may just be confined to south jersey and delaware through this evening. So for much of delaware, were mostly seeing the light rain just to the south of philadelphia and even just to the south of will mipg to be although some part as of wilmington could start to see light rain moving up soon. Now in parts of south jersey, laurel lake, these areas in yellow, thats where were seeing some of the heaviest rain. Cape may seeing some of the heavier rain, too. And this is all going to slowly try to slide to Atlantic County. So right across the expressway starting to see light rain moving in. Ocean city maybe some light rain approaching now. So areas along the shore you can expect rain as we go into this evening. Not so much though as we go into tomorrow. But big difference with our temperatures. Take a look at the lehigh valley. Mid to upper 60s. Then south jersey and delaware where the rain is falling, temperatures are in the 50s in these areas. So your neighborhood look at the temperatures through the lehigh valley, 64 in reading, 63 cliff up to, 65 allentown. Look at whitehall township, 69 degrees right now. We do have a 70 on the map here too. P that is in easton. So we will be watching of course the rain to our south at the same time the milder temperatures up to our north.
