It has cleared the philadelphia area and all the rest of pennsylvania, but some of this activity is still very strong, maybe even severe with lightning and hail and strong, gusty winds of the some of the heaviest rain just over dover, delaware and little creek. Heavy rain in new jersey, deerfield, pitts grow. It just passed Washington Township and other storms approaching brigantine. The green, the flood advisories. The flood advisory till midnight. Severe thunderstorm warnings until 11 30 for parts of the area. These storms will continue to move south, through the area and will be gone by morning. But thats not the end of the rain threat during the day tomorrow. Well talk more about when that is coming and big changes in the Temperature Department coming up in a few minutes. New at 11 00, nbc 10 was the only tv station there as this baby kidnapper was taken off to prison. Sharea moore could spend up to seven years behind bars for taking a child from the mall. Weve learned a lot of new details about why she may have done this. Reporter she claims she blacked out during the kidnapping, due to Mental Illness. Prosecutors detailed lie after lie after lie. Sharea moore stonefaced and headed to jail. Her mother rene. Flanked by supporters after hearing expert testimony that before this march 2016 kidnapping of a 7 week old at the king of prussia mall, her 33yearold daughter visited a day care to be around babies, after lying for a year to her boyfriend and family about being pregnant and giving birth. The extent of her manipulation and deception is completely, its endless. Reporter assistant da arguing for the babys real mother, claiming moore kidnapped her baby when her boyfriend grew suspicious and demanded she show him their child, and she could have been motivated to live up to her wellknown mother. When she was caught my argument is that she accepted no remorse. That she is still trying to evade responsibility. Reporter she claims she blacked out due to Mental Illness and should serve house arrest. But the judge sent her to jail. She kidnapped the baby. I think with all the circumstances that have been presented, a sentence of a year and a half is a reasonable sentence. Reporter she will start serving that one and a half year to sevenyear sentence in state tris prison tonight. Antipolice vandalism pops up in point breeze. We saw kill a cop, save a life spray painted on pillars. Also new at 11 00,i john mccain is returning to the senate. He will be back as the senate gets ready for a crucial vote on health care. He revealed last week he is diagnosed with brain cancer. Senate leaders say there will be a Health Care Vote by the end of tomorrow, but many senators say they dont know exactly what theyre voting on. Right now there are bills for repealing and replacing obamacare or just repeal. Democrats were on the floor tonight, speaking out against any of those options while republicans are still divided on how to move forward. Today President Trump stepped up his rhetoric on the issue. He threatened to fire his health and Human Services secretary if tomorrows vote fails. By the way, you going to get the votes . He better get them. He better get them. Declaring that he has nothing to hide, tonight senior president ial adviser, Jared Kushner is flatly denying any sort of collusion with the russians. The president s soninlaw sat down today for more than two hours of questioning from the Senate Intelligence committee behind closed doors. It all revolves around four meetings and his attempts to create a secret back channel with russia. He stood at the podium at the white house and said neither he nor any one on President Trumps staff colluded with russia during the 2016 campaign. Kushner will appear tomorrow before members of the house Intelligence Committee and will be under oath. Also tonight, new video is taking us right into the middle of a police shootout. The gunshots dont stop there. At least 70 bullets were fired on this busy street in stlaent Atlantic City. Prosecutors released this video more than three years after the deadly shootout. Denise nakano explain why its coming out right now and bringing out memories for the people who witnessed it. Reporter a shootout in Atlantic City between seven officers and a man armed with a gun shown in graphic detail. Dash cam video captured the hail of gunfire, while the mans shooting at police and officers firing at least 69 rounds, hitting watson at least 45 times. He led officers on a more than tenmile pursuit back in march of 2014. Speeds reached up to 85 Miles Per Hour through stoplights and stop signs. He struck several cars along the way. It started here in the parking lot of a Mexican Restaurant and bar where he was a regular. And witnesses saw him point a gun toward the ceiling. The Restaurant Owner remembered the shock he felt, learning a customer he saw just minutes earlier was at the center of a highspeed chase and police shootout. We were surprised. That dash cam video of deadly policeinvolved shootings should be released in most cases of public interest. It shows the drama of whats happening, somebody going down like that. Reporter denise nakano, nbc 10. The family of a missing Chester County woman flew halfway around the world hoping to get answers on her disappearance. She hasnt been seen since april 10th. More than three months later, police searched her home for the first time. Her sister and brotherinlaw spoke with nbc 10. They traveled to poland to meet with state police. Investigators and a forensic crew combed through the home he shared with her husband and young son. It is the First Time Police searched the home since march. Her sister and brotherinlaw say they met with her husband briefly tonight. The key here is in poland. They feel very, very bad in this ongoing period of time that we really dont know what has happened. Its terrible for the whole family, of course. And his relatives said they are thankful for the Community Members who have helped search for her in Chester County. A judge granted an injunction that would stop any work on sunocos mariner east two pipeline. It comes after neighbors were concerned with their safety. They would carry gas liquids. And that will continue to move out. A tremendous amounts of rain over the last couple of days, especially northern delaware shadelaware, parts of south jersey. A lot of these bright colors happened today. Nearly three in reading. Theres winner, north of wilmington, over seven inches of rain, and surrounding that, fourplus inches. Five and a half, Washington Township. We do not need anymore rain. This is the last of it. Coming through over the next couple of hours, but you see the clouds hanging in there. Were getting a northeast wind. Theres still lowlevel moisture around. We dont expect big thunderstorms, but there may very well be some showers hanging around. Some in the morning. Some in the afternoon. And look at these temperatures. Not going up very much. Especially as you head into new jersey. Because youre closer to the ocean, more showers, more clouds. More east wind. Its just not going to move out anytime soon. So temperatures hold in the70s for most of the area, fairmount at 78. Reading, allentown and easton at 76 with occasional, mostly light showers coming in during the day. And then on wednesday, its still pretty cloudy. Cant rule out a shower. Thursday, late in the day, and at night, thats when the heat, humidity and thunderstorms comes back. So we get a break from the temperatures, but were not seeing a whole lot of sunshine the next couple of days in any part of the area. By thursday, the temperatures go back up. Thanks.
