Heres what he had to say about his opponent while speak at the fraternal order of police lodge. What were not going to do is we are not going to send another ethically challenged taxhiking liberal who doesnt take our security seriously. Thats what Katie Mcginty is. Shes not going to the United States senate. Katie spent part of her day with Hillary Clinton. She campaigned for the democratic nominee at a get out the vote event in pittsburgh. Mcginty criticized toomey for refusing to stay a stand on donald trump. That is spineless, no courage, no character. Spineless, putting himself before his constituents, his commonwealth and his country. The Toomey Mcginty race could determine whether republicans keep their senate majority. It is the nations most Expensive Senate campaign ever. 15 minutes past 4 00 a. M. This tuesday morning. Approval rating for new Jersey Governor Chris Christie is now at a record low. Christie is Donald Trumps transition chairman. The governor is in line for something bigger if trump wins the white house. I certainly think that if we see a donald Trump Presidency we could see Chris Christie in the cabinet, be it attorney general, secretary of state or department of Homeland Security head. As for bridgegate, christie denies wrong doing and wasnt charged in the scheme. He offered this comment. In the whole trial, no one, no even bridget kelly, bill baroni or David Wildstein ever testified that anyone said to me this is an act of political retribution. They were found guilty on friday, kelly and baroni. This election season is like no other our nation has ever seen. Nbc 10s matt delucia is live at the National Constitution center this morning. Matt, this all endsc today. How will history remember decision 2016 . Well, i dont know about you, vai and tracy. This is definitely an election we are all going to remember for quite a while. We started here at nbc 10, as the whole election season, the campaign, here at the Constitution Center, headed to the white house exhibit. For more than a year, weve seen the political jabs, insults and scandals. It all comes to an end today when you go ahead and make your vote count. Its been more than a year of this. Today is the time for you to pick the next president of the United States. We talk about the folks here at the Constitution Center about what will be remembered in this election. You may have your own memorable moments especially with the ads youve been seeing on tv for the past several months but, of course, you also had those moments youd perhaps like to forget. On a larger scale, what happens today could have a farreaching impact for many years to come. I think that for this particular election, what a lot of people have focused on quite rightly is stakes for the future of the Supreme Court. This is one where both sides, both candidates disagree on everything in this election. They all agree on the fact that its of great consequence for the security where the next president will nominate, two, three, maybe four justices and we may end up getting a Supreme Court thats lopsided conservative or progressive for the first time in decades. All right. Thats the serious note there. A little fun here, though, come to the National Constitution center dressed as a president or show up with one of those i voted stickers from a polling place, you can get in for a 5 admission today. Theyre trying to set a record for the most president ial lookalikes in one place. That count will be happening here at 12 30. Heres something else.
