going to cooling today. some places more than 20 degrees. well, close to 20 degrees, lower than yesterday. a string of showers going way across to the north. with that frontal boundary in place today close to us it may provide a boundary for storms to form along that, especially metro west this morning. we'll go right back in the heat and the humidity tomorrow. today more relief. coastline from especially boston, maybe a few of the south shore communities but mostly the north shore, cape ann and up into maine and eastern new hampshire and it's going to be in the 70s in those spots. around 88 we deserve a break today. we have here from maine and new hampshire. we have a gusty northeast wind that blows and changes the air mass. the humidity is still going to be kind of muggy out here. even areas in here we'll have dew points in the low 60s or so. you can see the movement of the air is coming southward. the front is stalled through boston and off to the northwest. front probably isn't going to make much progress to the cape either. maybe province down -- provincetown. these dew points have dropped little bit. -- dropped a little bit. portland, maine hit 99 degrees yesterday. there was no relief at the beaches for sure. it's still humid off to the southwest. it's humid off to the southwest well down in here. so this is all going to be racing back at us even though we get a little bit of relief today it's going to be really, really hot and humid tomorrow. so where can you find relief today? right along the coast and up through boston and essex kin. -- essex county. in spots. in worcester county some areas over 90 degrees. the national weather service has a heat advisory in this orange area from noon to today. that includes southwest of boston and into rhode island. in the pinkish areas in dicative of excessive heat warning where it's going to feel like 105 to 110 degrees in these areas much like we had yesterday in of the boston area. what about thunderstorms? with a boundary in place here with that back door front stalling we have a focused area for showers and storms. so far no big triggers mechanism to create much in the way of showers and storms. a few of those may produce a gusty wind and certainly some torrential downpours. tonight a little system is going to go across northern new showers and storms tonight. tomorrow morning we're going to clear out after low clouds and fog disappear. we'll have a very hot day with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon. i think a better chance thunderstorm afternoon as a cold front comes this way. it will kick off storms more than what this model is indicating here. if you're going to the beach today in the 70s on the north shore, the 80s over southeastern massachusetts, especially on cape cod. the water temperature still continues to be 68 to 76. a high tide just before 8:00 and low before 2:00. going to fenway park for the games. it looks like 76 degrees will be the temperature there tonight at fenway park but it's going to be sizzling in the low to middle 90s at fenway park tomorrow arrange v afternoon. tomorrow afternoon. the dew points back up to 72 to 75. it will feel more like 100 to 105. tomorrow the national weather service temperatures in the 90s, the chance of a thunderstorm. it's going to be close to 90 on monday. less humid on monday and then flirting in the upper 80s near 90 much of the week until we get to the end of the week and finally we get some drier air coming in after a system on wednesday. it's not going to be quite as bad as it was after tomorrow but still hot and humid. >> this hour, which should we be most concerned about? heatstroke, heat index, heat exhaustion or heat advisory. >> i'm going to c. >> the answer is the heatstroke. excessive exposure to high heat you can get fever and collapse of p >> isn't that more apt to happen than the heatstroke?
