this winds down midday. it's getting crazy out there. rfk triboro bridge we have an the prospect an accident. near williamsburg bridge flooding. problem on the new england threw south at cedar an accident involving a car carrier leaves one lane open. 287 at exit 57 a tractor trailer fire that they are working on. garden state parkway south exit 148 we have that accident. on to route 17 south transit may be the way to travel with highways and side streets expected to flood up to two inches of rain in some spots. amy freeze is in hoboken where residents are familiar with high water. >> you are right. even 1/2 inch, they hope it doesn't come too quickly. what we have seen is the rain from moderate to heavy and now a light sprinkle. you can see there is a little bit of ponding. no big deal. we are at 10th and madison. familiar spot between shop -- shop rite and madison coffee. here where we are not seeing the heavy showers. all of this coming just days before hoboken gets a new eyewitness news. >> thank you, amy. police say were behind a bias attack on a subway in manhattan. investigators say the women were on a northbound one train when they started screaming profanities at a 29-year-old woman, pushed her to the floor and punched her in the head. the whole thing happened in front of the victim's parents. the woman member got off the train at cathedral parkway in morningside heights. happening today on long island, dante taylor will be sentenced for the murder and attempted rape of a young convicted in riverhead. the body of sarah goode was found by police in the woods in medford two years ago. she was stabbed over 40 times. his dna and bloody handprints were found in her car. we are learning about the teenager accused of making threats against police officers at the port authority bus terminal. hunter taylor was in court last night after being accused of carrying a loaded handgun inside the bus terminal. police are calling the man who something a hero. george pugh said tailor-made reference to shooting police and showed him the loaded gun. taylor was wanted for a shooting in florida. he is being held on $250,000 cash bond. hillary clinton is not wasting any time getting on with the general electionment today the democratic presidential candidate begins a bus tour in central, hour-long speech clinton pitched her vision for america while west and northwest and some by sunset may creep to the connecticut coast and may be creeping to the west of the jersey shore. sunday will be the day that you run into a shower and a thunderstorm. we are looking at a shower and rain sunday morning then up against breaks and some sunday evening. that's why we call it off and on showers. we are drenched at daybreak. late thunder coming together, [ indiscernible ] >> i will show you ninth street. we have seen people wi bicycles walking through the water. you see the cars going through, the water seems elevated, splashing all over the place.
