Navy sailors taken into custody by the iran revolution nary guard after the boat drifted into iranian water. The video released by iranian authorities clearly shows the nine men and one woman kneeling on the deck with their hands clasped behind their neck. The sailors were held in an iranian base at r. C. Iran released them today. I want to thank the iranian authorities for their cooperation and quick response. These are always situations which as Everybody Knows have guided to get out of control. All indications suggest or tell us that our sailors were well taken care of, provided with blankets and food and assisted earlier today. And i think we can all imagine how a similar situation might years ago. The timing of all this certainly raised suspicion happening on the very day that president obama delivered his state of the union address. After their release, the sailors left the island aboard the boats that they were detained with. They were picked up by Navy Aircraft then other sailors took control of the boats for the return voile january back to bahrain voyage back to bahrain. Investigators say a 33yearold victim was drinking in Washington Heights on december 17th when she met up with two men. The two men can be seen in these photos.
