>> thank you, tiffany. we should be very concerned about this. we have seen the rise in violence or calls for violin since the last election in june, as we mentioned, dhs issued a warning stating that this would increase. while we don't know the exact motive here, you mentioned there might be a hybrid, the hybrid of motive that we have seen being exhibited by a lot of people who may have been attacked, it nothing more than them looking at a menu of a whole collection of extremist ideology from race, religion, or issue orientation such an anti government, anti muslim. they pick what they want off of the menu and act. we should be concerned about this, we will see heightened security of our electives going forward, and heightened security of the polling places as well. >> this kind of violent statement is certainly not new. we were talking about the political violence, you know? >> well, you are absolutely correct, we normalize the violence and normalize the antisemitism and all the other extremist hate that is going on in america. when unelected fischel said something like this, and i understand his office came out to state that he was not making fun of it, but dangerously close to at least joking about it, and certainly inappropriate. now we see electives across the country that embrace this rhetoric. they understand it moves the base. moves the needle on the voter. they will continue to do this because it's a strategy that is working for them, unfortunately, and they are being somewhat successful with it. >> that is the thing. look, the biggest point is, we do have to get on with the business of the american people. the bottom line is there are elections happening november 8th, when you see the division vigilantes with masks and guns in front of polling places, it has the intention to depress and intimidate voters. because you lead the employer committee for civil rights, which people do? if you show up to a polling place, there is intimidation, if it looks like potential violence, if someone looks likely or threatening you, or your voters challenges, what are some resources? >> first and foremost, stay safe. we don't want people to play hero. our instinct is to protect our onekama t, but don't don't play hero. stay safe. we want people to call the hotline 866 our vote, powered by the warriors committee. call the hotline, we documenting these ancient instances in the country, they are putting a fire under doj, a fire under local officials to act on this. also, look, sometimes the only course you have to call the police. we don't like to do that, but sometimes, that's what you have to do, call 9-1-1 if it's actually an emergency. make sure you stay safe. also, don't let anybody deter you from casting your ballot. what that means is make a plan. if you don't feel safe at that time, make a plan to come back later and vote through another means. that is exactly what they want. they want us not to vote. they want that. >> yeah. one more time, that number. >> 866 our vote. >> 866 our vote. >> got it, 866, our vote. we have a lot to talk about. thank you so much, dr., for making time on the saturday. we have a jam-packed show coming up. a lot of news happen this week. we will get to it all. coming up we will talk about herschel walker facing another abortion allegation. he still has the support of the -- no surprise there. what one republican says you don't want to miss it. that is coming up after the break, you don't want to miss this. break, you don't want to mis this this passing through their uk port every year. don't just connect your business. right on time. make it even smarter. we call this enterprise intelligence. when you can't sleep... try zzzquil pure zzzs gummies. from the world's #1 sleep aid brand. its special formula helps you fall asleep naturally with an optimal dose of melatonin. so you can wake up refreshed. for better sleep, like never before. ♪♪ subway's drafting 12 new subs for the all-new subway series menu the new monster has juicy steak and crispy bacon. but what about the new boss? he certainly does with me. also, jason, vice president kamala harris is also there. does she have any appeal with black voters? what do you say? >> i mean, of course obama does. of course obama's, he brings up next, algebra that pick statement, he is engaging. 7000 people showed up to that rally in georgia in front of 7000 people, that is not a small number. i'll tell you this, tiffany, i'm a professor at morgan state university. i was talking to my students earlier this week, i have a large number of students, i'm not critical of them, but i have a large number of students who are not yet registered to vote. fortunately, we are in the state of maryland, right? the state of maryland, it's easy to early register, you go downtown. but what is said to me is that even in a really blue state, where you have a black man who is likely to be elected governor, nobody had reached out to my students yet. nobody had made that a reality for them to get register to vote. i'm going to get it handled, that means a local democratic party, organizers, activists did not do. it is bigger than just rallies. it's bigger than just having celebrities coming an interview you. we have to do with a day in and day out. i'm saying this because my students are too young to care about obama, they were born in 2003, he does not make them exciting. you have to do something else to keep the younger voters engaged. >> what do you think? like i said, vice president kamala harris is on the trail, is she in that same enthusiasm against black voters? >> yeah, obviously there is a certain amount of enthusiasm that president obama will have, people love to come out, i would love to hear the speech. i think the analysis of walker flying a plane was spot on, right? here is the deal. that can't be a replacement for doing a hard work of organizing our communities, talking to voters, knocking on those doors, having those conversations. you can't use someone like obama, kamala harris as our madrid negro. that will help pull out all of the black voters, right?
