maricopa county, arizona all right, good morning, welcome to the cross connection, i am tiffany cross. as you heard right now, house speaker nancy pelosi s husband was attacked yesterday. a 42-year-old man broke into those tight offices go home, hit paul pelosi in the head with the hammer multiple times, that s according to law enforcement, and the man says he is going to tie him up and quote, until nancy got home. that poured is quoted to a pelosi family member. thankfully she said paul pelosi is expected to make a full recovery, this is after he has to undergo surgery to repair is gold fracture. we don t know the precise motive at the law enforcement, they say he is still investigating, with officials saying that the suspects social media posts shows a quote, mixed ideology of both anti establishment, and more recently, far-right extremist ideas. the attacker does come amid but capital police say the huge spike in threats against members of congress. this is where we are.

Depression, all the issues that they re going through with student debt. we live in a world where there s opportunities for folks to work in different professions, different ways of making cash faster than going to college, and the fact that you see people go to college and get a degree, and can t get a job after they graduate sometimes doesn t make sense, and so part of it is how can we alleviate the burden to increase the opportunity for folks who do need access because for people of color, we still need degrees to get the jobs we want, to be able to be in the spaces that we are so beautifully and prepared to exist in, and so this is an opportunity to allow that an equal playing field. if we want to inspire the next generation to continue to achieve higher, and push the culture forward, we need to ensure they have access and opportunity to do so. well, this is a conversation that requires more time, i particularly want to have a conversation about young students making that decisio
