"eyewitness news" reporter todd quinones has arrived on the scene and what have you heard. >> reporter: this section of chester pike remains closed. if you look over my shoulder you can see the devastation of this accident. according to an eyewitness and a man who arrived here on the scene shortly after the accident they tell me that the driver of that white car you see right there was being chased by several police officers down chester pike southbound, this afternoon. they say that driver then swerved into the on coming traffic nerd to try to pass the vehicle when that driver collided head on with the driver of the red vehicle. eyewitnesses tell me that at least one person was pulled from that red vehicle, the status of that person's injuries right now is not yet men but i'm told by people on the scene that the driver of that white car that was being chased or at a high rate of speed died here at the scene. exact details surrounding the police chase and incident that led up louis. colder through western great lakes. right now not so bad in the 40's but with light wind we will see those temperatures falling fast. on storm scan three you can see that patch of clearing moving in, we do have high pressure that is dominating the weather well to the north and west with that cold air. it will slowly move east, and temperatures in the 30's in the philadelphia area we will touch 40 degrees in the city but still 30's for wednesday, new years eve ape getting colder, as we ring in the the new year. new years day temperatures in the 30's as high pressure settles into our south. overnight tonight it will be mostly cloudy and chilly. low temperature 31. wind north at five to 10 miles an hour. no big deal for the win. during the the day tomorrow wind picks up, we
