We still have the first alert out for tonight and for tomorrow. If through the overnight hours we have heavy rain moving through down pours. Localized flooding will be an issue. To traffic from pelham avenue down to universe and grays ferry, anyone that has a vehicle within the boxes can drive out but you wont be able to get back in until monday morning. However, you will be able to drive anywhere within the box, septa trolleys and buss will not operate in the boxes and highway traffic is restricted. The schuylkill will be close eastbound from the blue route to i95, and westbound 76 will be closed from i95 to route 1. The vine expressway, 676 will be closed in both directions river to river. And the ben franklin bridge will be closed until noon monday. In addition route 1, city avenue will be closed from lancaster avenue and belmont avenue because the pope is saying at saints charles seminary in that area.
