this accident, really frightening scene here at the sunoco gas station in kensington, with one car crashes into this victim's car, and then tips over that gas pump right there, if you take a look at the video, you can she it look like with the burned out cars and the wreckage. we're told this accident happened just before 11:30 last night here at the sunoco at the corner of somerset avenue, somerset at aramingo avenue. she was pumping gas, and she got t bone, it caused big fire. woman outside that's lopez, she was engulfed in flames, and suffered both seconds agree and third agree burns to hands and legs, and taken to temple university hospital where she now in stabilized condition app though they say she is in a lot of pain, but again there is family is just happy she is alive, as well as that three year old daughter, who was in the car at the time that this all happened. we're told by the family that a passenger in the other car actually got out, got the three year old out safely before she was injured. this is developing story, we still don't know exactly what caused a crash, but we are hearing the driver, woman, of the other car, misstook the gas for the break and plowed into this car and tipped over this pump, back out here live on scene, you can see, there is still a lot of clean up for the sunoco, they have to get the pump back in place, but again, serious carabeo in kensington to tell you more. jan? >> reporter: ukee, erika, family now identifies the victim, who was burned here this morning, as is 21 year old northeast philadelphia woman, jacqueline lopez, we're told, she is a student, has full-time job, and a three year old daughter the little girl is okay, while her mother is in the hospital. banked up, burned out. the wreckage of two-car crash and fire here at this kensington gas station, and an accident, that sent one person to the hospital, a woman, just trying to fill up. >> sustained thirds agree burns, and seconds agree burns on her hands and from her waist down. >> fire officials say the crash happened at this sunoco, at the corner of somerset street and aramingo avenue, just before 11:30, thursday night. a woman, was getting ready to pump, when an out of a control car slammed into her car, t bone it. we are told the driver misstook the gas pedal for the break. a mistake that took out the pump and spark big fire, both cars were burned, and still was -- so was the woman standing by. >> i'm very upset about the situation. because she is alive. >> all of this, they say, was witnessed by the victim, 21 year old jacqueline lopez's three year old daughter, who was inside the car, a passenger in the other car, then jumped into help. >> he immediately went on the other side, kicked the window open, and saved the three year old caughter. >> meanwhile, lopez, suffered second and third agree burns from her hands down, her family tells us, she now in intensive care but stabilized. >> it is hard to see her in the hospital. but i'm glad she's okay. >> her three year old daughter okay, as well, told she is obviously shaken up, but safe this morning, with her father, in the meantime, as you can see hine me this morning, thank you. the investigation into the philadelphia school district's cheating scandal leads to two more arrests. former principal, barbara mccleery, and arthur melt on, were taken into custody. authorities say both changed answers on standardized tests to boost scores. mccleery is the former principal of the now closed telecommunications technology high. melt on is the former principal of the now closed bok high school. an independent report finds philadelphia failed to respond to several warnings, before the deadly market street building collapse. mayor mike nutter announced the findings at city hall yesterday. the report called what happened a, quote, a symptom of larger long-standing problems. a 09 page report included three dozen recommendations. mayor nutter is taking immediate action, putting l & i under the city public safety offers. i mean, we are moving forward to do everything we possibly can to try to prevent anything similar to or any other kind of tragedy here in the city. >> the report also recommended splitting l & i into two agencies. the mayor said he's not ready to do that without a full review. it is 6:33, let's get your traffic and weather security guards. it left him with a criminal record.
